Why Lenses are so Expensive and What to do About It

i just got the canon rf 16mm f2.8 lens, its $250 awesome lens. with the 50mm f1.8 and the rf 100-400 for $650 for sports and youre good.

I have the a6400 and got the 18-105 off Amazon for 363 it was on sale for a bit back in November, I also got that 50 1.8 both are pretty good

I got my Tamron 24-70 f/2.8 for $500 at MPB. Mine is an EF mount. I use a Canon M6 mark II with an adapter (ef to ef-m). The lens is really heavy and looks crazy on such a small camera.

There is no "best" lens for the average consumer because not all average consumers are the same. Different photography calls for different lenses.

Do yourself a favor and buy the 28-60. You will be surprised by its optic quality. Just don't buy new as its expensive. Open box it is so cheap
