Is this considered as elder abuse? What is the age cut off in NY? I sure hope they find who assaulted Steve. I’m so sorry, and this is going to probably affect his decisions until it doesn’t anymore, but I hope he can bounce back faster than he thought he will.
Have you ever been in a car wreck that wasn’t your fault? Those kind of behavior changes. Leave plenty space cushions between you and other drivers, tense up riding in cars you aren’t able to drive, and the drivers habits are a lot less safe than yours are. Not being able to be a passenger in someone else’s car, until your body gets over the trauma of the wreck, or incident. Then one day you’re sitting in your car, and realize you stopped reacting, don’t know when the change happened, you just at some point stopped.
