If he chooses to bring it up then that's on his own accord, but he asks them to only speak about the movie. I would be pissed off as well.

The Bee Gees did NOT leave because the host forgot about some song. How stupid. Barry was CLEARLY annoyed much earlier, and he also explained that the "negative" line of questioning was the reason after the interview. How ignorant.
As a JOKE. Seriously. Fine, maybe he took offense, but the overall representation about the Bee Gees being upset about forgetting a song is CLEARLY inaccurate.
it seems to me that the interviewer talking to rdj was attempting to make the interview something it wasn’t. almost trying to make it a “he reveals all” that’s not what the interview was intended to be. it was supposed to be a couple of questions about the new avengers film. kinda really upsetting to see an interviewer not stick to the topics rdj agreed to answer.
@Rachel - But that's what Americans don't understand about Europe. In Europe, interviewers are not seen as advertising agents for a film. Their job is to reveal something about their interviewee that people don't already know. American actors often find this confusing, because they're used to American interviewers who are pretty much shills for the film industry. In Europe advertising of the movie is merely seen as the bait to get the celebrity in the chair and answering questions. And what's more, if they only want to talk about the product they're promoting, audience attitude will be, "Who does this entitled prima donna think he is? Answer the question he asked you!" Only in America is an interview seen as an advert.
@@michaelgove9349 The problem with the interviewer wasn't that he was asking questions. "Their job is to reveal somthing about their interviewee that people don't already know" yes but you see he's been asked these questions before and they are not fun questions. Just opening up old wounds. You obviously didn't understand what Rachel was trying to say. If they don't get what they were promised, they are allowed to leave. He went to an interview about the movie. So the questions should be about the movie. And sure they can ask personal questions from time to time but there's a limit. A limit I believe this man crossed with his insensitive question.
When interviewers turn into inquisitors it is a chicken shit way for one to conduct themself ignoring the intended purpose of the interview in order to get better ratings at another’s expense is despicable. I’ve screwed up in the past and just because I don’t entertain the masses I can choose to keep my past in the past if I don’t want to address it. I defy anyone to overcome the grip of addiction, past painful relationships or anything other negative experience on the most catastrophic level that a person can go through and come out not just alive but thriving in the Spotlight with Millions and Millions of people up your Ass as if that is a valid reason to take cheap shots because you help people enjoy their miserable lives. It’s not Okay it’s not alright.
Brian Griffin I know. I know he's infamous for making people piased or upset. it's just if you have a soul why would you question a man who's had a super tough past about his past. some people just suck. I've seen that Tarantino one though too and he was piased
Sometimes "Legitimate" journalists are more invasive and thoughtless than paparazzi. Maybe having some standards for decorum, respect for the subject of the interview, and curbing unnecessary bullshit need to be discussed at most news and entertainment studios. After all, only a couple of these walkouts could have been impossible to avoid given the interviewer had half a brain and a shred of human decency. Whoopi was especially right to walk out on that sack of idiot garbage for saying all Muslims were guilty of the actions of the radicalized extremists that attacked on 9/11/01.
All of the interviewers aren't real journalists though. It's easy to sit in a chair to ask questions. None of these people go out in pursuit of the truth. And ultimately it depends on the person. Being a journalist/non-journalist doesn't stop you or your bosses from being a complete twat
Celebrity: Hey I’d like to focus on the topic we agreed with and not my personal life. Otherwise I’ll leave. Interviewer: *brings up trauma and unrelated topics repeatedly* Celebrity: *leaves* Interviewer: Wow what an asshole am I right?

The Boy Cruz let me reiterate so you can comprehend basic English. I'm fully aware of how watch mojo lists are. I've been subscribed for a while. That being said, this video seemed extra wordy compared to previous videos of the same nature. Understand? Or understand?

Of course. Assclown channels like this want to TELL you HOW to think and feel about certain issues and situations. It doesn't suit their political agenda if you start thinking for yourself.....
Robert Downey Jr. I will never not love him. That interviewer asked totally inappropriate questions, and I’m glad he was just like “I’m uncomfortable with this, it’s unrelated to the interview” and he left. Some people, like me, would stay, perhaps not answer depending, but I would feel _obligated_ to stay. We know more enough about his past, and it’s seriously not even our business. He had a bad past and he came out of it better then any of us ever could. He is a role model for many people, including me, because he had a hard life and he came out a star. Screw that interviewer. He sucks.
Pretty sure the interviewer Krishnan Guru-Murthy is known for doing that sort of thing, "gotcha" questions and generally just being a prick. Quentin Tarantino walked out on the same guy.
Okay, Barry Gibb did not just get up after Clive Anderson had made a joke about not remembering a song. He had made insulting jokes multiple times about them as people, then they finally walked off.
Just watched it based on your comment. I think the host was simply trying to be funny, charming, caviler, and his humor, and to an extent, his British humor and demeanor, simply didn't translate. But I don't think he was trying to be rude. I don't think that was his intent. A problem is that Clive doesn't seem to have anything interesting to talk about, so he is trying to pump up an interview that has no where to go. And this Clive, who I am not super familiar with, has ONE, a very forceful personality. Very in your face, and it's not for everyone. Me included as well. TWO, He would do well to ask more interesting questions, and then STFU. He is so manic that it almost puts everyone including the viewer on edge. Hmm, yea, right, yea, sure, yea, sure, I need to always say something, yea, sure, hmm. It's like he is asking a question, and then trying to rush you through the answer, because he really doesn't care about the response at all. It's like he has 40 meaningless questions about the history of their lives, and feels the need to ram through the whole list in 10 minutes. And THREE, he likes to take their words and turn them into jokes, like you might do with a good friend, but there not friends. And worse, he turns the joke on them, and not himself. If he had done those same lame jokes, but made himself the butt of the joke, like a Conan O'Brien would do, then it might have worked out. BUT you can tell that Barry Gibb took the tosser comment way to much to heart and was stewing on that for quite some time as he brings it up. In Britain, it's really not a massive slur most of the time. It's far more casual then he might be used to.
I don't understand at all what exactly the BeeGees were angry about. It couldn't JUST be that Clive Anderson couldn't remember one of their songs. If so that would have been rather petty, I should think.
The one with Ryan seacrest didn't seem that bad really. He didn't ask that bad of a question and Robert didn't seem flustered. PR guy was just not having it
Shizamza Shazam usually when interviews like this are held, the PR person is in touch with the interviewer's people and there are a list of questions prepared before hand for the celeb to address/answer. The PR person gives the interviewer a list of no-go questions which could be about the celeb's recent divorce or break up or flop movie and if the interviewer still mentions those topics, the celeb walks out at most times.
They asked this question solely for ratings. Regardless of his answer, it could have started endless media attention. "Robert loves working Kristin, (then some romantic love affair twist)" "Robert doesn't really like working with Kristin (does this mean they hate eachother)?" No matter what he says, they increase their ratings and profit at the expense of both Robert and Kristin. At first I thought the same thing, until I realized if I were a PR manager, I would have never allowed someone to risk answering this just so they could continue to talk about him for 3 more weeks, spreading rumors and assumptions and gossip. There really is no way to win, especially when I'm sure they asked this question specifically knowing his PR manager wouldn't like it. [If none of this makes sense, I'm just clarifying now I haven't slept in like 24 hours and none of what I'm saying has made sense for a while now, so I might delete this later haha]

The interviewer from Robert Downey Jr's is actually really annoying and pisses off celebrities a lot, this isn't the only time someone has walked out or gotten offended by him.
I'd rather have an interviewer like him who doesn't kiss these celebrities butts. These people make millions just for speaking the words of others in front of a camera and they expect to be treated like gods who can't be asked tough questions.
TheTruthiest You've obviously never been on either side of the interviewers chair. Interviews have agreed upon topics in advanced for the sake of the television program. But im sure you yourself are a perfect angel thats never done anything wrong in your pathetic life you wish to forget or just go one day with out being harrased about. Thats what most interviews have turned into. Slam the person who agreed to show up for a polite conversation. That's what sells. Yet i bet your willing to cut them slack for drunkin drivers, druggies, rapest and molestors bc they play a little boys game that your fat ass likes to sit on a couch and watch from a thousand miles away. I hear more about actors like Chris Evans, RDJ, and Johnny Depp going and doing good things like vist cancer wards, sick kids donations and charity events dressed up as characters they've played. Making sick people feel special for just one small moment of thier lives and giving them one good thing to remember then you will ever hear about a sports player doing so. They are the most self indulged POSs on earth! Or how about a rich person or CEO. Never. They're so consumed by greed theyd kill thier own family's if it meant an extra tax incentive. But hey im just speaking "The Truthiest" here. So do your homework b4 you open your pecker holster of a mouth.
TheTruthiest having you privacy invaded in the first place is highly disgusting then having someone look you in the face and ask about it when you you're there to answer questions about an entirely different subject matter, it's an ambush to get a big headline. It's disgusting and no just because they're celebrities they shouldn't have to open up and tell some sleezy dickhead everything.
I'am really sorry but I have to say this: I thought this is suppose to be informative, but every time I watch "watch mojo" I found out the narrator end up talking too freakin much, and didn't give enough "evidence" for the topic. I'am very disappointed.. This is a constructive criticisme, I hope there's some progress regarding the narrator. Here some advice: if you like to talk so much, have your way then, but please don't cut the audio source. It's very annoying to lose some information such as the "dutchess' video". Thank you.
Just cause someone is a celebrity doesn't mean they have to put up with shit anymore than the rest of us. Stay on the actual topic of the interview or suffer the consequences, and if you are on topic and asking what's relevant and they still get upset or offended, well that's their right and you just gotta suck it up.

Especially when the interviewer is talking about things that happened a long time ago? Love that he was still respectful and tried to be nice even though it was clear he was very angry.
Budden didnt walk off his own show, he stood up and acted like he was better than them and then sat his ass down later and did his job. Migos left doe after almost beating his ass.
In the Clive Anderson interview, Clive basically makes jokes at the bee gees expense, basically mocking their appearance and out right insulting them. The straw that broke the camels back was when they were questioned about a period of hiatus when one member had a hit single, another member mentioned that they also had a single and Clive said “I forgot that one”, after the same member had mentioned that their singles are “like their babies”. Honestly, I think it would be a personal insult to your own pride to not just leave at that point.
The breaking point of that interview was when Clive asked about some public possibly thinking that BeeGees were just a bunch of "wankers." Barry took offense to that vulgar language and insinuating that someone, somewhere, didn't appreciate them.

Good going man, good going.

There an old Green Day gem of an interview. They didn't walk out. Instead, they walk away from the shows host, grabbed instruments from the show's band, and began playing. I believe they played scattered
The song was called "Don't Forget to Remember" and the talk show host made the joke "I forgot that one" so the singer of the Bee Gees walked out insulted? Am I missing something? loll
They should always check who they're being interviewed by. Some interviewers are cheekily irreverant so if 'stars' want the suck-up sycophant attitude they need to know beforehand.
GorcStew , yes you missed several minutes of the interview that weren’t shown where the interviewer treated the brothers music with contempt, don’t forget to remember was the final straw in the insulting manner of the interview.
RDJ had every right to leave the way he did. You don't ask ANYONE about something so personal unless you get their consent to do so. And you DONT ask someone about a serious personal matter of their past during an interview of something completely unrelated. We're talking about super heroes, movies and actors NOT about someone's family.
Example 2: Jim Gordon in a scene in "The Dark Knight" trailer that didn't happen in the movie before he was "killed," therefore leading me to believe he was only faking his death when I saw it in the theatre.
Well O’Riley told the truth in that case. Radical Islamic Terrorists did kill for Allah on 9-11. Even if an argument was made that they weren’t “real Muslims.” These same women would be easy to lump true Christianity into being involved in bombing abortion clinics.

That's not accurate. If you watch the whole interview the host calls the BeeGee's tossers lol
As a JOKE. Seriously. Fine, maybe he took offense, but the overall representation about the Bee Gees being upset about forgetting a song is CLEARLY inaccurate.
Yeah that was the most inoffensive thing said by the host ironically.

it seems to me that the interviewer talking to rdj was attempting to make the interview something it wasn’t. almost trying to make it a “he reveals all”
that’s not what the interview was intended to be. it was supposed to be a couple of questions about the new avengers film. kinda really upsetting to see an interviewer not stick to the topics rdj agreed to answer.
Libby Johnson you have the same name as me!
Answer the question he asked you!"
Only in America is an interview seen as an advert.
A limit I believe this man crossed with his insensitive question.

robert had every reason to leave that interview.

The interviewers are mostly very rude in this I would have left too...
Sarah Belling right? I felt so bad for Robert actually. Those were some really sad shitty questions to ask.
Adam Block that same interviewer interviewed Quentin Tarantino and kept asking questions about violence in his films.
Being a journalist/non-journalist doesn't stop you or your bosses from being a complete twat

dumb? or dumb?
This is what all WatchMojo videos are like. Each entry gets introduced, and the commentator gives explanation, history, and context. If you don't like videos done in this format I wouldn't recommend any other of their videos.
The Boy Cruz let me reiterate so you can comprehend basic English. I'm fully aware of how watch mojo lists are. I've been subscribed for a while. That being said, this video seemed extra wordy compared to previous videos of the same nature. Understand? Or understand?

Robert Downey Jr. I will never not love him. That interviewer asked totally inappropriate questions, and I’m glad he was just like “I’m uncomfortable with this, it’s unrelated to the interview” and he left. Some people, like me, would stay, perhaps not answer depending, but I would feel _obligated_ to stay. We know more enough about his past, and it’s seriously not even our business. He had a bad past and he came out of it better then any of us ever could. He is a role model for many people, including me, because he had a hard life and he came out a star. Screw that interviewer. He sucks.
Miles Edgeworth He was meant to be interviewed about the movie and the interviewer was just talking about really irrelevant and kinda touchy.
Pretty sure the interviewer Krishnan Guru-Murthy is known for doing that sort of thing, "gotcha" questions and generally just being a prick. Quentin Tarantino walked out on the same guy.
The way he left was just class in such a cool calm and collected manner
Very Well Said, I agree. It made me respect him even more
Stop judge people's. They are celebrity and still are human, having limitations you moron. They don't need your sympathy that much
Okay, Barry Gibb did not just get up after Clive Anderson had made a joke about not remembering a song.
@@Reggie2000 interviewer was rude to the Bee Gees brothers.
@@Reggie2000 interviewer was rude to the Bee Gees brothers.

I don't understand at all what exactly the BeeGees were angry about. It couldn't JUST be that Clive Anderson couldn't remember one of their songs. If so that would have been rather petty, I should think.
Thinking the exact same. Now I have to look up every single one of these interviews which is... annoying. Badly edited.
The one with Ryan seacrest didn't seem that bad really. He didn't ask that bad of a question and Robert didn't seem flustered. PR guy was just not having it
Shizamza Shazam I agree..
They should have removed the RYAN SEACREST out of the list, BECAUSE THE WALK OUT WAS SO FAKE.
If you believe that was fake then you didn't see the actual interview... then again people like you go all over the internet saying everything is "fake"
The interviewer from Robert Downey Jr's is actually really annoying and pisses off celebrities a lot, this isn't the only time someone has walked out or gotten offended by him.
I'm SHUTTING YOUR BUTT DOWN

You've obviously never been on either side of the interviewers chair. Interviews have agreed upon topics in advanced for the sake of the television program. You dont think its the least bit disrespectful for the interviewer to ignore the topic and trie to put the interviewee on blast. Yeah what a great guy. But im sure you yourself are a perfect angel thats never done anything wrong in your pathetic life you wish to forget or just go one day with out being harrased about. Thats what most interviews have turned into. Slam the person who agreed to show up for a polite conversation. That's what sells.
RDJ has gone to many events for kids dressed like Ironman/Tony Stark just for the sake of the kids. You think Actors act like gods. True of any group whos rich. Some do. Some dont.

TheTruthiest having you privacy invaded in the first place is highly disgusting then having someone look you in the face and ask about it when you you're there to answer questions about an entirely different subject matter, it's an ambush to get a big headline.

Kare2muchJR funny that WikiLeaks is a form of media/news. Sooooo your wrong.
Jon S Pardon? What exactly am I wrong about?
Jon S Wrong? I'm not wrong about anything. We are both right
Charisma on Command does a great breakdown video on to RDJ interview.
Pedro Montalvo Jr, thanks!
Yeah. Thanks these mojo people talk too much you don't really get a feel of what's actually going on.
RDJ had every right to leave the way he did. You don't ask ANYONE about something so personal unless you get their consent to do so. And you DONT ask someone about a serious personal matter of their past during an interview of something completely unrelated.
We're talking about super heroes, movies and actors NOT about someone's family.
The Cara Delevigne one promoting Paper Towns 😬🙈
Carys Pugh yeah the one where she was freestyling, ignoring the interviewer's questions?
She didn't walkout
idontcare they even say it in the beginning of the video they have to actually leave
Marie-Christine Lachance the one were they were being rude and snarky to her during an after the interview is over?
Top 10 spoilers that ruin trailers! example John Connor a terminator in Terminator genesis
Example 2: Jim Gordon in a scene in "The Dark Knight" trailer that didn't happen in the movie before he was "killed," therefore leading me to believe he was only faking his death when I saw it in the theatre.
And Marcus being the Terminator in Terminator Salvation. They really terminate the movies with their trailers.
Chaos Is Coming Doomsday or wonder woman in bvs
As much as I really liked Spider-Man: Homecoming, that second trailer gave away the entire plot
how about terminator 2 revealing Arnie is good this time in the trailer? Could have been an awesome surprise moment
Did you really call the view woman TV giants? Lmao 🤣😂🤣😂
Well O’Riley told the truth in that case. Radical Islamic Terrorists did kill for Allah on 9-11. Even if an argument was made that they weren’t “real Muslims.” These same women would be easy to lump true Christianity into being involved in bombing abortion clinics.
I love Robert Downey, Jr., and the interviewer was rude and crude! Good on Robert!
Absolutely perfect exactly my dear sister and friend I love Robert Downey Jr but that interviewer was a putz and absolutely ignorant and despicable SMH oy vey Maa this is not kosher at all whatsoever
4:45 Pattinson's PR manager is a boss! But also RDJ is an amazing human being and I love him😂
Why are you describing every single interview and not just showing the interview?? Do you just enjoy hearing yourself speak?
Than he gets copyrighted and doesn't get to make money of it ,if you're on internet too much you should do some research
6:58
Tony: ' Jarvis, Now! '
Jarvis: ' on your command, sir! '
But why the hell was robert downey jr.'s interview with one of the worst interviewers ever included
@@Nanooky You probably saw the video of Tarantino getting angry at that interviewer. He didn't leave though.
I love how the narrator clarified that the person had to actually leave, yet the hosts of the View “figuratively” leaving counts for some reason.
Robert Downey Jr did the right thing to walk out the interviewer had no right to do that to him
Stop. Talking. Over. The. Goddamn. Interviews. Bro.
8:02 How TF do they get that bottom text up so quickly after she said it?
S Makhanya someone in the booth was quick with a keyboard
S Makhanya usually most of those live interviews have a 3 second delay (or so I've heard) so someone was very quick to get that up on time.
Prerecorded
Why does the thumbnail have RDJ saying "You're kind of a schmuck?" he never says that. 😂
Well, because if they hadn't cut the audio he did say it
Top ten top ten mojo videos. Be meta.
they did that like several times
Be a Mech as well.
Literally just waiting for the Robert Downey Jr. one.
