Being involved in organizations like SHPE and SoDA was the best decision I made in college. It helped me meet incredible people and helped me start a strong career as a software engineer
Nothing great ever happened without enthusiasm! I have seen countless student events fail purely because the student team was going through the motions when planning and advertising for an event. I've also seen many teams limit themselves because no one *chooses* to promote positivity and enthusiastically carry out their work. Sometimes they need an Advisor that can help them connect to a higher vision, but the choice is still theirs.
