Of all the videos you post, the farm ones are my favorite. Your care of the land and animals (including your great dogs) is to be commended. Well-done!!! Bravo!!! 👊👍💪😊 P.S. Nothing makes for good neighbors like a fence. 😎
I was lucky enough to run a Vermeer Wood Chipper for a few jobs and loved it. You couldn't overload the thing. So much better than hauling brush to burn piles. And they work great getting rid of irritating coworkers too!
Great to see your Ford 2810 in operation. I have a 1970's vintage Ford 2000 3-cyl gas that looks almost identical to yours. I use it to pull a 5' bush hog mower to cut the grass in the field behind our church. Love your videos, they always give me ideas for my own projects.
Looks great! Isn’t it amazing how little you get out of such a huge pile? The first time I ran ours I thought I would have a mountain of chips but it was only like a yard of material for like 2 trees worth of branches lol 😂.
Trying to decide if that was the lazy mans way of loading the chipper or the smart mans way. Definitely the smart mans way! Love watching you at work! Keep the videos coming!
Chris, now that you have eliminated all the leaks, repaired all that was needed, worked all the kinks out, changed the oils, fluids, and filters, flushed out the water cooling system, pressure washed the entire machine, and taught the Hitachi excavator how to work like a Volvo excavator, maybe you should consider leasing it out on a day to day or job to job basis. You know what the cost is for an excavator to be on the Jobsite, so who better than you to get the right price per lease. My guess is that you could get the return of your full investment including the repairs, maintenance, and upgrades out of leasing the Hitachi within 2 years or less.
A couple things Chris. That is a versatile chipper. Not only does it chip wood, it plows a pretty mean furrow. Also that haul truck you used for the stumps seemed pretty maneuverable thru the fence stakes and trees, but didn't have much of a dump bed on it! You might oughta look for a bigger one.
Scott Kuykendall , if he does I hope it will be superior to the one used here . I mean it’s a good chipper but it has loading issues in my arm chair experts opinion .
Very Satisf. to watch, The 'Ol chipper made it look easy, I'd say the Gem needs another paint job and a little detail, maybe some armor all on the tires..LOL
Looks like you would waste more money on chainsaw gas and files. Then you , would pay to fill the oil tank. Especially for the btu of gum wood of junk softwood
Ha ! Everything was going ok. Well kind of... Till Chris took over with the loader and Zach took care of his machine. Now, we're going fast forward ! Zach is surely a nice and experienced guy, no doubt, but nobody beats our Man Chris here for handling big logs or small tweegs to the shredder !! No one ! 😁
It's all fun and games until someone gets their eye poked out, but it's especially a good thing Zach had his safety glasses on the top of his head when that branch whipped around the chipper and nearly took out his eye... Here's Your Sign...
I use one of those a least twice a week bandit model 16 in chipper I have also used a morbark deck fed chipper also it a plenty easy with the thumb a bucket to load cuts out the manual labor.
If I would have heaped my loader bucket that full I’d have lost half of it? Or had to strap it to the bucket? Good friends help each other out! Good to see. Thanks for the videos.
I have a set of pallet forks that works great for p/u large piles and loading onto trailer to take to compost facility. Sure beat me trying to load a trailer by hand after it had been rolled several times and all keyed together.
Hi Chris new subscriber about a month enjoy watching you work you are very talented operator, just finished watching all the videos on the rifle range all can say is wow impressive,as I new subscriber when I find a channel i enjoy i like to go back and watch videos helps me to see what kind of worker you are now good are the videos etc,I suggest if there is more than 1 video per job if you could number them in the title do someone new can watch like the pond and rifle range videos in order ok keep them coming
Never ending when ya got a Farm, always something to do , or fix !! lolol.... Love it Man !! You have a Nice Big Beautiful Place there Chris !! Have a Great Evening......
I am pretty amazed how fast the chipper chips. I do agree with a couple of comments in that if you would feed the small stuff by hand, things would have progressed a lot faster.
Get a grip Chris picking up twigs and handling it 4 times with the thumb , to get it in while he stands there looking at it use your hands ✋use machine to load near to chipper and big stuff lol 😆
I'm a great fan of chippers for mulching under trees - keeps the weeds & underbrush down far better than mowing. What I hate is hire chippers with blunt blades...
I did tree work for years and aside from climbing loading the chipper is the most hazardous job on the site. I’ve seen a few close calls that scared the daylights out of me. I preferred climbing, a busted leg is better than ending up like that dude in the movie “Fargo”.
Wood chips blown down the fence line woulda kept the weeds down. 1/2 the fun is tossing the branches in by hand. We cleared a church lot of lots of thorny things. Had to be reallll careful about how you threw it so as it didn't catch you up in it.
Well you give all the chipper folks what they been wanting and it look like you got a lot of farm work done all and all not bad for a week end and alway remember it one bite at a time to eat an elephant 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍😉🙂
I was more impressed with out gently he feed that chipper than how quickly you found the fuel cap! Gotta love how nicely things come together sometimes.
I'm familiar with the barter system, animals, bales of hay, meat, even dozens of eggs, but a shirt? I'm sure it's autographed! Keep up the great work Chris.
Me feeds chipper all day everyday with a mini. Also me comes home and watching someone feed a chipper with a mini. And also me laughing in Vermeer bc1800 lol. Good job guys
Your friend needs a face shield, it looked like he was hit by that branch.Made me flinch, As also great Vid.Blesding Chris too you and your family and friends.
I’ve always found when running my chipper the most efficient way is to let the machine take care of the big stuff but handle anything small by hand

How many excavators do you need on a farm? -All of them.
The chipper needs a tray on the back so even small stuff would feed easily.
its designed to be a hand fed machine
If only you knew someone with a big offroad 6x6 Volvo dump truck. ;)
Getting the job done! Great work. Love your content
Good fences make good neighbors.
Looks great! Isn’t it amazing how little you get out of such a huge pile? The first time I ran ours I thought I would have a mountain of chips but it was only like a yard of material for like 2 trees worth of branches lol 😂.
Very nice place you have there Chris, And those Hogs do a good job at clearing the under brush in the forest !
Wow that stick came so close to your eye ! You must be blessed 😅👌
Stay safe friend
Awesome video Chris thank you for sharing
Trying to decide if that was the lazy mans way of loading the chipper or the smart mans way. Definitely the smart mans way!
Love watching you at work! Keep the videos coming!
Everytime Chris and Zack get together I really feel that I'm watching Ralph Kramden and Ed Norton on The Honeymooners...."Hello Ralphie Boy..."
I see a lot of people comment on feeding the chipper by hand, the way I see it the digger doesn't get tried at the end of the day lol

That was fascinating watching the chipper. Sure is clean
Real nice video! Looks good down in the woods.
That chipper is either very old or it’s had a really tough life , maybe both lol .
Keep up the Great Content!!
This is so relaxing
Nice work Chris, that Ford tractor is really handy not to mention cool.
The man finally delivers! We've been asking for a chipper for years. I see a drag line and a mud pump coming soon! 😁
Good to see the 2810 out. Please ship it to the UK, I’ll give it a good home with my MF135.
Nice!!!!!( needs a much bigger chipper but nice anyways!!!) ( feed tray for sure!!!)
16:56 - And that's why safety specs are sometimes a good idea!
that was close!
That would of hurt no matter where it hit him.
Not sometimes a good idea for eye protection, always a great eye-deer.
Really good 👍 video today Chris. Love ya
i like all your videos chris greetings from holland
Your going to have a giant mushroom crop growing in all the wood chips
Damnit, you didn’t tighten my fuel cap and it popped off causing my fender to cave in 😂
Nice chipper and good owner operator.
I can see it now, in a few months Chris will have a video saying " Well I bought a chipper" lol
Yeah he'll have 2.hes freaken got at least 2 of everything lolol
Scott Kuykendall , if he does I hope it will be superior to the one used here . I mean it’s a good chipper but it has loading issues in my arm chair experts opinion .
William D he doesn’t have 2 backhoes
I’m kinda surprised he doesn’t have one already
@@Definitelynotyou90 Not yet give him time bro.
Very Satisf. to watch, The 'Ol chipper made it look easy, I'd say the Gem needs another paint job and a little detail, maybe some armor all on the tires..LOL
Good work my friend same work i'm from Indonesian 🇮🇩 work Malaysia 🇲🇾 good job strong 💪💪
You started with a Kubota then switched to a Yanmar, went to the Big Momma Hitachi and back to the Kubota. Didn't think we'd notice did ya? 😁
Would love to see you help out Josh the stones ridge farmer with some of his projects.
Wow that looks a lot better, we have a chipper that works off the tractor PTO. It will do a 4 inch log. I hate brush piles.🤔
Great video 👍
Good video Chris biger bucket for Backhoe .
Amazing work
Living in a northern state and heating with wood all I see is firewood going out the chipper!!! AAAAGGGHHHHHH
beautiful firewood going to waste...too bad
A lot of gum and other pilthy wood there, not much for good firewood.
Looks like you would waste more money on chainsaw gas and files. Then you , would pay to fill the oil tank. Especially for the btu of gum wood of junk softwood
@@shanereynolds5971 One mans garbage is another mans treasure
@@Frank-qu2xv I mean, I guess if you like creosote, low BTU and punky wood, go ahead. There is far too much wood available to burn that junk.
Ha ! Everything was going ok. Well kind of... Till Chris took over with the loader and Zach took care of his machine.

No denying he's great operator.
How much you pad on the last statement?
can't keep it all

Great as always
I use one of those a least twice a week bandit model 16 in chipper I have also used a morbark deck fed chipper also it a plenty easy with the thumb a bucket to load cuts out the manual labor.
That chipper makes small work of cleaning up that brush pile. I know it goes both ways, but you are lucky to have so many good friends with equipment.
Your the best operator I ever seenyou and the machine or one
And it's GONE. Those chippers are handy! Put that on the list letsdig18. lol
Good to see ,you didn’t waste all that material on the shredder, and you left some for the burn pile
Good stuff man
LOVE this woodchipper contraption ! Wot fun,,,,

I only buy 3/8" chains, not broke one yet. A long one is good for drag a big loop covering grass seed.
Handing those trees like pick up sticks. Got some talent going there going man.

Nice video, like always
That is a beautiful place you have, where are all your critters at .😎😎👍👍
Presumably, hiding from the machinery.

them logs will make some nice red oak boards.
Chris, will you have the fence set back from your property line enough to mow both sides?
i could smell the chippings through the screen, love that smell
Same here, i miss my homeowner shipper/shredder, paid nothing for it and got several years out of it till the block blew a hole in the side...
I was more impressed with out gently he feed that chipper than how quickly you found the fuel cap! Gotta love how nicely things come together sometimes.
I do not envy you on that part of the job, I just admire your patience
looks great
I'm familiar with the barter system, animals, bales of hay, meat, even dozens of eggs, but a shirt? I'm sure it's autographed! Keep up the great work Chris.
I don't know why I find this channel interesting, just a good ole boy digging in the mud. Envy I guess
Central California watching
You got real country when that gas cap fell off.
Never been around those chippers before. I didnt realize they would take that big of a log
Seeing a woodchipper at work always reminds of the movie Fargo.
No idea why though..
Chris wants to feed her the wood at " mach chicken" and Zack is like take it easy on the old girl
Put the wood right to her Chris!
Me feeds chipper all day everyday with a mini. Also me comes home and watching someone feed a chipper with a mini. And also me laughing in Vermeer bc1800 lol. Good job guys
Have you used a tiltrotator on any of your small machines, Chris? This and a grapple have been fine and dandy on this job!
Too bad you can't run some of the know it all commenters through that chipper.
Always a Good Morning if you’re on the Farm. If you’re in the Suburbs, NOT so much. 😬 👍
Looks good
I could watch wood chipping all day long.
Given the amount of brush you haul off and the cost, would chipping be better?
Chris, in hindsight those chips would have been nice to put on your path. We use chips like this to keep vehicles from sinking into the mud
Glad to see the OSHA approved footwear when loading out the stumps with the backhoe!!!
Which is stronger the Yanmaar or kubota
Which machine is better the Yanmar or the Kabota?
Hahaha 2 minutes of watching Zach and I said you need to get in the mini!
It was killing me with Zach in the mini lol.
Straight up flip flopping it! Gotta be comfortable. Love it
That's the chipper they needed for the movie Fargo, that would have got the job done.
Tidy the piles of chips up a bit with a shovel, and call it 'organic compost' for growing more trees in.
Crikey just as well Zack has fast reflexes bro that could of been an ouch. Really enjoyed the video though. Stay safe guys
That's one nice big old lodge. Have you ever sold one wood carver or artist.
Nr 3 from Sweden in middle of the night.
Hi from norn arghland @ 22.12pm :-)

EastTn mountains! Lol
Chris; That's not a woodchipper, it's a log-eater. I think you need one as well...
Are you expanding your own operation Chris or is the Hitachi going once the Volvo is home for keeps?
This was fun; different from the pond dredging. I also like the Kapper Outdoors channel for content like this.
Your friend needs a face shield, it looked like he was hit by that branch.Made me flinch, As also great Vid.Blesding Chris too you and your family and friends.
