  • Ever notice things look more difficult some days than others? For people with ADHD, we need to feel good in our bodies before we can tackle a task, otherwise our brain tells us not to bother because it's too hard and overwhelming. If we feel hungry or tired, tasks look more difficult to us than it would if we were feeling good!
This quick video explains this concept and gives you some ideas on how to get more stuff done by paying attention to how your body is feeling.

I've noticed that when I wake up grumpy and feeling like the day is going to be bad and I'm not up to accomplishing anything that the mood could just be temporary and not to give up the whole day yet. Wait and see how I feel as I wake up more. So, your video speaks to this idea and helps me be more aware and in tune with my feelings and body so I can know what might be driving my mood or the feelings I have sometimes that things are just too difficult. Thank you!
