Great overview Tom, thank you for taking the time. There is also the Battle (Mario type) Mode of play, plus team play! So it players can choose not to just race, but to instead collect Power-Up Cards that help destroy each other's Lightbikes and stealing their Power Cubes to win the game. :) The average game play length is 15-25 minutes. :) Happy 4th of July American Independence Day weekend!! - Uwe
@@thedicetower True that, but I also immediately thought that I'll just grab any game board and put it (face-down) on the felt to rotate just as you suggested.
My first thoughts were that this was a little too gimmicky, but the more I thought about it while watching this review, the more I started to feel like this could be super replayable and potentially even home-modded and revised to increase the depth (no pun intended) of gameplay. I'm really interested in this one now. Thanks for the review!
Just wondering if this just arrived at The Dice Tower, or if it’s been in the works for some time…I backed this project and was wondering if I can expect it soon.
Apollo Games, huh? I thought Academy Games was the primary publisher. Did they sell it? (Which would explain the game's longer-than-customary delay in the Kickstarter pipeline).
for me it's one of these games that have very cool idea and exploited easy to undetstand, basic rules but that it requires to rework a bit the rules and options like boss monster or the card version of labyrith (travel, pile of around 50 square cards with double way so a card that makes a "h" is unique but many possibilities are obvioulsy missing.. normal labyrith would have a "+" as "best" card here the card doesnt exist because it would be "#" 😂 now imagine this form and ask yourself if you can fit every possiblities in 50 cards.. (q and p wouln't the same, there s no reverse h but you get the idea, tje game as around 40 cards that are symetric, I manage to make a long line of 2 symetric cards large with symetry in the middle and only around 10 cards was unique, 1-3 were only one way possible like would be a H and around 5 were only one side so you could think that you can use it and it would be tje wrong side tht connects..😂 these games needs to have fan rewrited rules, every person loving a game design but feeling a bit dispapointed or limited by the rules should directly go further and start rewriting the rules.. and even do new cards, or even cubes, with a 3d printer and printing stickers, just need something for the magnetic things OR buying both version and modifying the cubes you have twice, change the rules to fit you desire like changing from exact distance to max distance, having things, objects, bonus that can increase the maximum moove like a turbo these games are visualiy cool and are base around fun ideas, let s makes the rules better and let s share our homerules !

I liked the sounds effects for turning the board.
The fact it magnetic just gives a huge extra dimension of thinking
You could put the cubes or the board on a Lazy Susan Turntable to easily rotate as needed!
Sure, but not everyone has a Lazy Susan table laying around. In fact, I'd wager most people don't.

@@thedicetower Understandable. I picked one up from IKEA for gaming purposes (like this) for under $10.
One of those games that makes you go - "Huh, neat!"

It was in one of the recent Most Boring Unboxings
@@_Cervantez It just arrived recently. We will be fulfilling soon.-JS

Hmmm... I'll wait till it's on the 80% off clearance shelf

Apollo games is Academy Games non historical game brand.
@@skinflutey Ah, thanks... I missed that news somewhere along the way.
Yes Skinflutey was correct. Apollo is our non historical, sci-fi division.
At a quick glance i thought it said a 'Really S*itty Review"!
