9:06 That dudes name is Tim Bagley, an awesome comedic actor whose delivery is usually very deadpan and dry. I became a big fan of his when he was on a Showtime series called Web Therapy (2011-2015), with Lisa Kudrow, and she played an online Skype therapist, lol. It has a ton of big star cameos and is honestly one of my favorite comedies of all time. If you love Curb you'll love that show as well, the writing is honestly brilliant. I've never seen anyone react to it but it would be a great one if you guys are looking for more like Curb.
All of the lines are improvised. Curb doesn't have traditional scripts it has outlines that break down the episode scene by scene but doesn't include specific dialog.
It's a case of the unreliable narrator. Larry believes he's the only sane person on the show, it's from his point of view, ergo everybody else is bats--t crazy.
@@riskeyIt's kind of a moot point in a fictional comedic series. The characters are meant to interact in a way that explores and points out society's weird social cues and little unwritten rules about how to act.
I was impressed with your Cheers reference early in the video, I just assumed you guys were too young to be familiar with it. So I was really confused when you weren't sure who Paul Simon is. I mean, Simon and Garfunkel? You probably know a half dozen of their songs without realizing it. And Paul Simon's Graceland was huge in the mid to late 80s and he already had a thriving solo career. So I looked up a couple things and it turns out viewership peaked at 26 million a week with Cheers, and that's just in the US, while Graceland sold 16 million copies worldwide. Clearly I was, and probably still am, living in my own little bubble. Tbf, I'm willing to bet you also know several Paul Simon songs, too. I love that you're reacting to this show and get it. Some people can't see through the irritation to the humor. I rented a video years ago made by John Cleese called How to Irritate People. I remember it being so stupid, but it was sketches so I kept thinking I'd try one more, and then IT was stupid too, and so on. Anyway, I was getting progressively angry when my bf came home with his friend who wondered what I was watching. So I told him and he said, "Well, you seem pretty irritated." And it instantly became funny to me. Maybe I'm not as smart as I think I am...🤔...BYE!!
Interesting show so far! Not sure how I feel about it yet considering it's supposed to be a classic and all. Overall I just felt some annoyance on Larry's behalf this episode. Every character is so weird
Cheryl is, unfortunately, married to one of our less impressive, more embarrassing political candidates this year. Franky, being married to Larry David would be an improvement.
6:05 salesPERSON? 🤣🤡 you're joking right? Or is it really like that in the Soviet Gulag called Australia? You can't call a man "a man", or in this case salesMEN? Please tell me you're kidding
Where’s the beef, 80s reject? You’re like decades worth of stupidity rolled up into a person… what else don’t you know about the American Civil Rights Movement???

Larry is the only sane person in his world.
Confession: I am not a fan of Curb (or Sunny). But I watch these reactions because I am a big fan of you guys, and I laugh A LOT! Thanks for that. 👍👍
Wow, thank you!
How does Dean know about prettay prettay preatty good? are these not first time reactions?
Just because we haven't seen the show, doesn't mean we don't know about pop culture and where that quote comes from.
Seinfeld
Heaven !
You probably already know this but Cheryl Hines is married to RFK Jr., who is currently running as a third party in the 2024 US presidential election.
Oh, wow, I didn't know that!
RFK Jr said his Dr found a dead worm in his skull tha🎉t ate some of his brain. No joke, he said that on video tape.
@@chuck2tall explains some of his takes
The craziest Kennedy, and that's saying somethin' 😁
@@chuck2tallthat's actually fairly tame considering what's come out of Trumps mouth daily
