SOUR GRAPES is in an actual movie written and directed by Larry David. It actually is not that bad, but got destroyed by critics when it came out. Glad you guys are watching this show, in my opinion, the greatest sitcom of all time.
AAMCO is a transmission repair company. The first three letters are the founder’s initials. The commercial emphasized the name by saying “Double A (honk, honk) M C O”. Ironically, the company was founded in 1957. Thanks!

The ending where Larry gives the homeless guy the chicken answers the question of why he thanked Larry for the chicken in a previous episode, because they played out of sequence

Fun(?) fact: Maggie, Treeger’s wife, is actually Maggie, Billie Eilish’s mom.
The thing about AAMCO is that the little jingle from it's advertising campaigns is particularly catchy, so any American watching is going to know what it means immediately.
AAMCO = Anthony A. Martin Company. This type of naming was prevalent for a while. NABISCO = National Biscuit Company. AMOCO = American Oil Company. And as far as turnovers go, the one Larry ate looked absolutely terrible.
