That was the best-quality upload featuring this performance I could find online. It is a mimed performance to the single, so I have replaced the audio track with a high-quality one of the single, and this involved speeding up the footage slightly, as it was running a bit slow compared to the HQ audio track I am using. I have used a CD-quality 16-bit/44.1kHz AIFF digital download I purchased from Qobuz at the following page: www.qobuz.com/...
The source video had been horizontally stretched, causing everything to appear too wide, so I have used special software to unstretch it. The source video was also slightly out-of-sync, with the picture running a bit late compared to the sound, so I have fixed that. The performance footage begins after the music begins and ends before the music ends, so to accompany the very beginning and very ending of the track I have put up on screen two pictures of the single. I have also cropped the edges of the video picture, just enough to clean them up. I have also upscaled the resolution from 360p to 1080p, as this increases the bitrate, which slightly improves picture quality at all the different resolution settings the viewer can select, but please be aware that playing it at the 1080p setting is not going to make it look as good as a true 1080p video. I have also added optional subtitles for the lyrics.
This song was written by Clarence Reid and Willie Clarke. This track was produced by Clarence Reid and Willie Clarke, and was released in 1971. According to Wikipedia, this single reached No. 6 in her native USA, and No. 39 in Canada, and did not chart in the UK. No other territories are mentioned.
