Hello mam I made these biscuits today in wheat floor & little quantity of maida. I also used seasme seeds & prepared in tandoor vessel. It is so ummy & mouth-watering.
Followed the recipe. Turned out awesome. I think key is that you have to use sufficient amount of butter and whisk it for some time. That is what I did not two in my two attempts before. This time its perfect as how things should be :)

my cookies turned out to be really nice soft and crispy both. but just got salty in spite of adding 1 teaspoon of salt as shown in the video.. next time will reduce it to half.. all together it is an awesome bake :)

Unexpectedly, the biscuits turned out to be delicious 🤤, unexpectedly because even though I knew they were jeera biscuits, I somehow thought 💭 they’d be sweet to taste but once I got used to the taste, they turned out to be better than I thought they would be.
Hey Upasna Thanks for sharing the recipe of jeera biscuits I tried them today...double the quantity 😊 It turned very well...very crispy...but the only problem I had regarding the salt My cookies turned little more salty ....I used salted butter I am still loving them with tea ☕️👍🏻😊

Hi Archana, you can use the same amount of margarine. You might have to increase your liquid content to bind the dough by 1 tbsp. Just check that. Hope this helps. Thanks!

I tried these about 5-6 times now I use 180 gms butter tho.... It turns out amazing... Dissolves in the mouth....Thank you for sharing

Hi...can I use atta in place of maida and desi ghee in place of butter....as it's difficult to get few things in this lockdown.

Yes ! Ghee is clarified butter...just make sure that it's not liquid...you need to chill it to be firm
