Both times I was in the Philippines I tried calling the PRA with my Philippines phone number and they never answered. I called many times and different times and still nothing.
It is easier to just go down to the office. If you were calling the head office in Makati they are quite busy. But my experience with the satellite offices is no waiting and they have time to talk to you.
I recently received a add from PRA stating welcome as a new member you now are eligible for discounts. When I contacted the satellite office they said yes you are approved but we will set up the ceremony. I asked when since it’s close to Christmas they said we will contact you when. What is the ceremony is it mandatory?
Steve, I got married 3 weeks ago. This is the end of the K-1 pricess. Now we have to move on to the Adjustment of Status. Once we complete all the $teps, she will be an American citizen
Is the annual SRRV ID renewal a new requirement? What happens upon return to the PH if you miss renewal due to an extended stay outside the country? Thanks in advance

Steve. What about 13a Can you use the PRA from anyplace in the Pi. to get it ? Do you know what the price for it is ? I got a horrendous price from a "service" in Dumaguete.

You are paying 600 each year for tourist visa renewal. However. They are going to be asking you why you are staying so long and don't have a long term visa now. They are cracking down on the 36 month option. You cannot renew every 6 months now. 2 months is the longest. If you enjoy visiting the immigration office... have fun. I do not. Personal preference.

@@RichTravel1010 Steve I saw you make that same comment (thank the Chinese) on another viewer comment. I am aware of the revelation back in April when some members of the Philippines Senate went public with reports of alleged Chinese mafia figures being found in-country working the POGO operations and were operating with government issued IDs and documents including genuine Philippines passports and questionable SRRVs (Chinese in their thirties...thousands of them). It was noted in the report that the issuance of SRRVs have long been exploited and that the Chinese syndicates had established networks within the Philippines government bureaucracy. The report emphasized that the Chinese nationals were coming in and out of the Philippines at will as Philippines national security was being blatantly compromised. There were Chinese military uniforms found in some of the lockers when the POGOs were raided. PRA personnel were arrested, the whole SRRV program was shut down for a period of time. Hey Steve. God bless. I know JRC charges 60 usd to renew the SRRV. I laughed and said yeah right. So. I do everything myself. The past 3 years. It is simple. I don't need a marketer. I am up in Pampanga now and there is a satellite office here. I was in and out in 5 minutes renewing my visa. No line as there was absolutely no one there except the PRA staff. Too easy. I renew every year anyway so ... the new rules don't affect me. I do hear from guys that they are just not renewing their card. I said... ok. Well good luck leaving the country because they will check and if expired... you will be detained. Take care.

Steve I saw you make that same comment (thank the Chinese) on another viewer comment.
Palms were getting greased. We should thank the Chinese for what...being successful at so easily soliciting corruption on a large scale? So, what else is new?
Damn. Shit pisses me off.
