Most of them dont even show their base prices online. I understand if they have to charge extra for nasty jobs, but come on on man, i dont want to waste my time on the phone asking for a price that doesnt even go with my budget.
cardo is probably the most transparent detailer i know. love how he explains everything in all of his videos! Like he is LITERALLY telling you what he does step by step, the high quality products he uses, and gladly responds to comments! I wouldn't be surprised if he charges a premium price, but honestly, the results will probably be overwhelmingly astonishing in return. I dont know his price, but I will gladly pay for it over some detailer that isn't transparent Lmfao 😂

I feel like Detailing, just like cooking, beauty, and any other meticulous industry, should be something people should share with pride. oh my god this is so true. i live in california and the usual cost in my area is like 80-100 bucks, but they are usually mediocre services or car washers calling themselves detailers without the "detailing" quality yet they charge like detailers. smh tbh. thanks for the info dose! wish you were in my area :(

That is something I noticed as well! When I first started out, I was researching prices in my area, and most of them don't even show base prices! 😔
