  • Considering the egregiously long tail and myriad reflectors that come on new bikes these days, a popular first modification is eliminating that as soon as possible. ‪@Evotechperformanceparts‬‪@Evotechperformanceparts‬ makes a really nice, sturdy piece just for that. The part is 5mm thick aluminum with welded on screw bosses and a beautiful black crinkle finish befitting the quality and other black finishes of the bike itself. Triumph clearly thought of the end customer when they built the tail for the Speed Twin. Its modular design makes the entire process easy and not a single wire was cut in the process. Thanks for posting, fitted Evo tail tidy to my bike today. Your video was a big help over the manufacturers instructions.

Good video. How do you feel about the British Customs tail tidy versus this one?

I looked into the British Customs unit and three others in the article on my website. There’s a link in the video description. In short, I think the British Customs might be the best one available. It looks easy to install and it’s specific to US plate sizes so you don’t have to deal with adaptors. Plus it’s a little bit cheaper.
