We know from cycling that bike helmets should be discarded after a crash -- a completely different type of helmet and likely a lesser impact. But, do moto helmets need to be replaced after a crash? What is the protocol for that -- just a detailed inspection? Keep on nerding out, fun to hear about.

The white EPS foam inside is painted black so you can see if there is a crack which would indicate it was compromised. I personally, I discard a helmet after any impact.

Have you contacted Bell about their crash replacement program?

Honestly, I had no idea there was such a thing. Do they offer a discount on a replacement?
