Yay first comment! What was the length of the spacer he is using? I know you said that the headers are to put on center but what's the measure of the spacer so I don't have to do any math.

I think they said 2 feet (24 inches)

the "rafters" are 24" on center. so 24" - the 3.5" for the wood would be 20.5" spacer

@@knightshelmfarms6128 spacer should be 24 in. - 1.5 in. so 22.5 in. a 2x4 is only 1.5 in thick.
