  • @17yearolddude

I would reccomend you to do quick bursts of sprints - around 5-8 sets (Gradually work up to 8 but if you can only handle 5 at first start there) of 20-30 second full on sprints. Doing this generally leads to rougly the same or a neglibile less amount of microfractures compared to jogging 3-5 miles or more, and is done in a short period which won't heavily affect your cortisol levels. Sprinting has also been shown to boost HGH by an absurd amount, as opposed to jogging or walking or any other exercise.I do agree microfractures can lead to bone growth, but to start that mechnism and instruction for your body to grow that bone, you need to keep your HGH up. Longer running duration can increase cortisol which hinders HGH production. Also remember to spike your insulin with healthy carbohydrates ( I recomend fruits or honey or raw milk ) in order to convert your HGH into IGF-1, which in simple terms manages what GH does to your body (like making it grow)
    So summarizing:
Sleep 8-10 hours (doesn't matter how much you microfracture your bones if you don't get adequate rest to rebuild)
Aim to continuously grow muscles around the bone you are trying to lengthen (you do need muscles to support both the new length / size and density of the bone you are building up)
get enough protein, vitamin d3, calcium, and k2. (generally make sure all your other vitamins are also there)
Do not be in a calorie deficit.
Do bursts of sprints in sets of 5-8 x 20-30 seconds of sprinting.

It is also true that there is a theory that bribrations increase height, but this is in floors that vibrate, that is, in a mobilizing surface which moves or "vibrates" and your body in some way has to maintain balance, this In theory it makes you grow more, but it is more complex than what I just explained to you, it has to do with cartilage and the solidification of cartilage, there is cartilage that grows and turns into bone, it is similar to open growth bands, I recommend reading about that too.

    • @cyzz_le
      @cyzz_le  5 месяцев назад +8

I don't know about vibrations reopening growth plates. Unless you have a source for this, I think it's misinformation
But stem cells could theoretically do so, and vibration from a massage gun, let's say, does increase bone orthodontic rate (faster turnover). So there is some validity to it, just not in the way you think

I think the stretching part will only work best if the weight of the bands surpasses the strength of the muscles because as we know that when a muscle is being stretched it is putting compressive force on the bones so in order to remove the Compressive force we will have to wear a weight that will surpass the strength of the muscles and tye force will be transferred over to the bones which will be tensional force. By wearing bands that exceed the strength of the muscles will be very uncomfortable an alternative would be ankle weights so after doing microfractures you can sit in a position where shin bones are in the air and your wearing ankle weights that supasses the strength of the foreleg muscles so it puts tensional force on the shin bones.

Muay Thai fighters in Thailand run 15km and kick hard heavy bags 6 days a week. They do this to conditions their shins. I understand that the reason the shin becomes conditioned overtime is due to the micro-fractures and the bone growing back stronger. Does this mean it would also aid in height growth?

I destroyed my heels by jumping off something tall (for fun not anything suicidal) and it hurt for a month or two and I started lifting weights a shit ton and now I'm already past what the doctor told me I was gonna be. So the micro fracture thing is prob true from first hand experience.

Just an fyi running almost every single day is almost guaranteed to make your bone matrix extremely weak. Aka (borderline osteoporosis). I dunno if this effect is even desirable but I’d take it with extreme caution ⛔️. If you don’t give your body the necessary steps to heal you may end up causing a far worse injury just attempting these exercise routines. This is not even mentioning the possible joint and ligament damage that may or may not cause irreparable harm from overtraining. Please please please, consider ALL consequences and take it at your own discretion when attempting to grow 🙏.

I am a cross country runner and run six times a week, often getting 40-50 miles per week. I believe the weakening bone part is relied heavily on how well you warm up, stretch, recover, what you eat, and sleep. We used to be hunter gathers that had to run who knows how many miles per day to find food to eat, yes I agree that over training exists but that limit can be pushed if you take care of what you do before running and your lifestyle.

@@progamerlim7447 I’m mostly speaking in extremes of what is most likely required of someone’s body in order to create new lengths of bone in a relatively short period of time. My thought process is: If the surgery itself to grow limb length is extreme, just the theoretical process to get there must be equally extreme and grueling. It’s pretty hard to get shin splints and stress fractures intentionally. It is possible and in this instance “desired”though take that as you will, that’s just my pov.

10:42 This is just speed run to shin splints bro 😭 I would recommend proper strengthening of ankle and hip muscles before attemptimg this kind of training, because otherwise people who have weaker ankles or leg muscles will be more prone to injury. Also Hypothetically sports like kickboxing (kicking hard surfaces with your shin) preomote more micro fractures in the tibula that could be stretched and reformed as opposed to using simple cardio to create these microfractures.

So I’m 29, and I’m 5’8 1/4 barefoot naked. I have a twin brother who is 6’2, I’ve grown about an inch since high school but I’m hoping that with my genetics (my twin being over 6’) that I’ll by some miracle grow an inch or two. I’ve measured my body and my wingspan is 6’ (which is way longer for someone my height) and my legs are 40 inches (which is also long for my height).
