    A great series so really well done! It was always interesting to see where your titles were taking us! We shall certainly try out some of the places you recommend as we now spend our 90 days in the UK… Looking forward to the next episode!!

    Can't wait to see where you all go next 🥰. ***Just a note: this video is not showing in my Subscribers feed (only the post notifying its upcoming time). I found the actual vlog by chance on the Home page - glitch? Thought you'd like to know as I have all the settings on to see all new vlogs etc - just in case others have potentially missed this vlog too 👍***

    YT-Destination Destiny. Sadly, just returned from 3501 miles around Spain and Portugal. I say sadly because this trend is happening there also !! While we were even parked up, the local council arrived to put up signs right in front of us banning motorhomes in a lovely big parkup which was empty except for a few motorhomes !!!! If you google / google walk Praia Grande do Rodizio in Portugal, the car park at the top of the hill is basically empty, but now motorhomes / campervans are banned as from 17 July and they put the signs up while we were parked up !

    I have a T6.1 Van being custom built soon and wondered what your preferred choice of van security is (alarm/immobiliser/tracker?) as I would feel anxious leaving it whilst hiking etc.. I'm very interested in your UK videos also as I'll be venturing similar areas I think, including Scotland before venturing off to Europe. Thank you, James.

      Ah awesome! That’s really exciting. We went pretty big on security so we’ve got deadlocks (highly recommended), a tracker, wheel clamp, steering wheel lock and security cameras in the back and front as well. We’re also planning to install an immobiliser in the near future too. Our philosophy is that the more annoying things you put in the way the less likely thieves are to try anything which is why we’ve gone for a mix of visual deterrents and hidden security, as well as modern and older solutions. One other tip that someone gave us was to write your VIN in various hidden/inaccessible places that only you could find in the event that it’s stolen & plates changed or whatever. Basically we’ve gone way overboard on our security but ultimately it’s our home and they do, unfortunately, get targeted quite often. Hope this helps!

    Hi there guys, first of all just wanted to say how much I have enjoyed your channel and following you on your adventures. The question I have for you is how do you go about finding park ups in the UK? I have had a van for several years but have only really done the park at a pub kind of stop over, this is a bit restrictive as you very often have to eat at the pub. I have recently upgraded to a new bigger van and I am interested in finding new places to stay and explore and would appreciate your thoughts on how to find new park ups. Many thanks and keep up the great work 👍

An do track days in difrent parts of europe maybe even make some sort of business from it weather it be renting a bike and have some were to camp options. Am building a new camper looking for a low loader at the moment to build. Am 6ft8 sprinter was bit of a pain way full size double took up too mutch room. So yeah new plan very drastic but need a new challenge. Am a hgv driver be loads a work across the pond worst case. 😂

    Part of the problem in the UK is the sheer number of Campervans looking for free stopovers
    Was a lot easier before the whole #Vanlife Bull💩 explosion 😂

    Hello! We're looking at buying a van and travelling around Europe. We're complete newbies...is it hard to get the van to a comfortable temperature for naps and bedtime? We have an almost 3 year old 🥰

    • @TheWholeWorldorNothing
      @TheWholeWorldorNothing  Год назад

      Hi! That sounds really exciting 😀 We personally don’t find it too difficult regards the temperature, the only time we’ve struggled was in Spain when it was about 40C. Other than that we’ve always found ways to cool it down, though we’re definitely pretty tolerant of warm weather. And when it’s cold our diesel heater warms the space up within about ten minutes. It’s definitely an adjustment and no matter what van you have, it’s going to fluctuate in temp more than a house. Have you considered hiring one to try it out? ❤️
