It’s been a while! In fact so long, you may have forgotten who we are, so if you need reminding, we’re James, Sarah and Ady (aka The Whole World Or Nothing) and we’ve spent the last five months slowly working our way across Europe to Turkey in our self-built campervan.
But you read the title right, we are quitting RUclips - or at least this style of travel videos. So stay tuned to the end and we’ll explain exactly why and what’s been going on.
However before that we thought we’d take you along on one last adventure - welcome to vanlife in Turkey with us!

No one is going to be on their death bed wishing they'd made more RUclips videos. Much as I like your chanel, you've a different focus in life - a much more important one and love the fact that you're recognising that your family and the experiences you have together should be cherished instead of worried you;re not capturing enough content. She a little gem, they grow up quick and it's a wonderful gift that you give her your time and these amazing expereinces. See you when you're back!
Yeah absolutely, it’s weird because it was almost just habit we’d been doing it for so long but as you say our focus shifted which really took a lot of the enjoyment out of it and has meant we’ve had to prioritise different things for the time being. We’d love to get to a stage where we feel happy making youtube videos again and we feel it’s less demanding but we’ll see! Thanks for the kind words, we really appreciate your understanding ❤️

Hey guys! Nice to see another video from you, we've enjoyed watching them 🙂We can definitely relate to how much work it is to create RUclips videos and how much time it takes up, so completely understand wanting to take a break from it. For a short while we tried to make a video not even every week but every fortnight and decided that was too intense for us to be able to make the videos in the way that we wanted to and how we enjoy watching them back. Not sure how other people do it! But as you say there's a lot of work that goes into each one way beyond just the filming, so we decided that we'd have no set schedule at all and just release our videos as and when they were ready.
We've only released build videos so far on our channel but are following the exact same approach that you mentioned at the end for a mini series for travel videos. That way we can focus on it for a short time and then take a complete break in-between. It's working for us so far with the ones we've filmed (will be a while till we release them too, need to get round to editing them!), and we find that in the downtime it gives us time to think about what we want to do next and start to look forward to doing it again.
We follow you on Instagram too so look forward to seeing more of your adventures, but much prefer long form content so will keep an eye out for what you make here if and when too!

We definitely think that filming and editing for a fixed period and then being able to switch off could work for us, we just need to take some more time to figure out exactly how.

That’s a great way of putting it, things are just changing so quickly for us at the moment and we really want to be able to enjoy what we’re doing without the added pressure of making RUclips videos. It’s certainly made a huge difference so far. That said, we do enjoy making long form videos and especially our little community on here. Thanks for being such a huge part of it and all of your support over the years. Completely understand why you’re not such a big fan of the shorter vids, definitely not everyone’s cup of tea! Anyway, we’d still love to meet up in person sometime, we’ll be back in the Uk over the summer so we’ll keep in touch ❤️
