Fellow Sézane lovers, I have great french brands to share with you !! Some have a similar aesthetic - with some twists of course -, some are more different, but they are all good quality, and around the same price category. Sometimes cheaper (yay !), sometimes sadly a bit more expensive.

Thank you !! It's an Italian brand called Lazzari, I bought it during a trip 10 years ago and the quality is incredible it hasn't changed at all 😍

So far I am still happy with Sezane's silk shirts and sweaters, maybe I got lucky ? I sent back a pair of earrings once because the quality really felt cheap, but I have another one that I wear all the time and is holding great... I guess it's a matter of luck ? But generally I also feel that with a lot of "recent" brand, once they start having success prices increase and quality decreases 😔😔

I tried a silk scarf that was very thin and flimsy. I wanted to try one of the skirts but there were so many made of viscose/rayon, which I find is not a durable fibre so not worth the money at Sezane's price range. Interesting that you are also disappointed with the quality. Thanks for sharing your comment.
So far I've had a couple cardigans which I asbolutely love, and 2 blouses which are top quality. I'm really interested in what items caused your disappointment

Thank you for this video! I am in Canada, and it is nice to get to know some new brands. When I went to Paris this fall I tried to look into some and Sezane kept coming up, which I love, but it's nice to know some new ones :) I am enjoying your videos!

Me too @gracevittoria9467! You probably already know, but in case not, BaSh, Maje and Sandro have standalone stores in Canada. The Bay's downtown/flagship stores also have Sandro, Maje, Bash, Isabel Marant and The Kooples if you're looking for these types of brands and want to be able to try their pieces on.
A very useful video merci Delphine. I am apprehensive about the quality of Sezane clothing and the fit as I cannot do returns from New Zealand so it is good to have some alternative options.

Thank you! I'm quite often in France, but 7 of the brands you mentioned, I didn't know/try yet. I will have a look. Three other french brands that I really like (as a German) are "des petits hauts", "à côté" and "Côtelac".

How do you order from Balzac to Germany? I know it’s a weird question but everytime I want to pay, either with Paypal or a CC, the website jumps back to the page before. Balzac customer service answered me and said they couldn’t solve this. I’ve never had problems ordering so I was wondering what it could be (also tried on iphone, desktop computer and 3 different browsers)…
Petite Mendigote was great quality but ran quite big. I like their new blue collection.
Balzac has a nice shop in Paris, I enjoyed shopping there. Great video! 😊
I have not yet ordered from Balzac to Germany ! I bought some while in France a few years ago, and otherwise my family and a lot of friends are living in France 🙈 But while doing this video I was thinking that I should buy some new pieces from Balzac, so I'll try ordering from Germany !!

I like From Future very much, do you know it? As far as I’m concerned, Rouje has a bit less quality, much more polyester in the garments.
Yes !! I have some sweaters from them, as well as several family members (and I actually gifted one for Christmas to my sister 😅🙈). Very nice quality 😊

A warning about the French brand Excess Only: I ordered an $800 coat from them in October, but never received anything!

you can increase the volume on youtube also (bottom of the screen) - I have no issue hearing Delphine speak.
