Love that you mention the itchiness, shedding, fabric composition, and your height and typical shirt size (for reference). So very helpful! I love Sézane and I’m petite too. 😊
Thank you very much Delp in the City. So disappointing that there is so much itchiness and polyamide. It really puts me off. I got the cream Lyla and do like that. Seems to be more wool and just a slight itch. You might like it too. The sleeves are long though.
Omg thank you so much for this video. I have been eyeing for a few pieces (MATHEO for example) but haven’t seen any try-on online and struggled to decide which I should order. And this video helps a lot!!!!! Thank you❤
I love the look of the Nils jumper, but now I can see its shedding would drive me crazy. So thanks for the review, especially that I haven't seen anyone doing a video on Nils, very helpful! 😊
Hallo Delphine! 😉 LG
You ordered some lovely items! ❤ The shedding fabric will drive you nuts for sure! The Naelle and sami look great. Maybe try a smaller size in Sami as I've read that the burgundy runs large. The Louison is fabulous on you too!
Thanks 🥰 Yes, I think I cannot handle the shedding 😂 Someone also mentioned in the comments that the other colours of Sami are apparently smaller ! It's good to know, thank you for sharing 🥰👍
Thanks for the great video. It made me dscover some new pieces :) I really love the green basile on you. I did not find the sleeves too much on you. Also, the naelle combo looks great, but I understand feeling self conscious in it.
Thank you for watching 🥰❤️ In the video it does not look that much, but because the knit is very thick it then feels somehow heavy ? And when I bring my arms closer to my torso, then the sleeves "bump" into me 😆🙈🙈
Thank you for the informative video. I heard that the Sami in burgundy was larger than the previous ones so I think getting your normal size is best. Everyone sized up because the ecru one was on the smaller side❤ I think this is an issue only for the burgundy one and not the green one.
Thank you for watching ❤️ Very interesting about the size differences ! It's not the first time I hear that sizes vary between colours, thank you for sharing the information !! 🥰
A really interesting review Delphine 😊 thanks! I agree with you about the itchiness 😢 I hope that Sezane will find a way of removing it... that's personnaly the only reason for me not buying their sweaters... it's a pitty as the styles and colors are SO beautiful
Hello Delphine! The Sami is such a beautiful color! It looks really nice on you. It is a shame about the long sleeves and the buttons on the cuffs. It makes it difficult to roll the sleeves to a more comfortable length. I love the shoulder button detail on the “oatmeal” and navy sweaters. I understand what you mean about the texture. It can feel soft to the touch but then have a “slow” itch when you put it on. I love the knit pattern and color of the last green sweater. It is a shame about the fibers. I am currently debating the Emile cardigan in red. I think it would be nice to have a true red cardigan but not sure if that one is too bright. Decisions decisions! I hope you are having a lovely day!
Hello Mia ! 🥰 Thank you ! Yes, I will maybe give it a try in a smaller size, not sure yet, because it might be too small/short in other areas 🤔 I tried the Emile cardigan in burgundy, the red version looks very bright on the website ! It seems to be a nice vibrant color, might be quite bright but that would be a strong true red cardigan, if that's what you are looking for ? 😊 Have a lovely day 🥰
@@delphinthecity Yes, I find that many sweaters and tops are very long in the arms these days. It all depends on the style, whether it works to roll the sleeves or not. It is a risk to try a smaller size as they are sometimes smaller in other areas but still long in the arms. The brightness of the red is why I am hesitating. I want red…but not fluorescent if that makes sense. Maybe I am too picky. I probably need to just try it and send back if I don’t like. 😊
I think the Basille looks incredible on you, the color is perfect for you. It is itchy for me so I cannot wear this cardigan. Love the Nils on you too! How about wear a top under? I recommend the Uniqlo Airism line.
Thank you 🥰 I love Uniqlo "under tops", I have a few from the Heattech line 😍 For these two my biggest problem are the tiny fibers that they are leaving everywhere, it drives me crazy 🙈🙈
I've heard something about puting the pullovers that loose their fibers in the freezer 🤔 I never tried it out but if one of you did, please let us know if it worked and how to proceed 😊
Hello Delphine! Thank you for the review! I would recommend trying the khaki Camilla knit, I think you would like both the color and the material, the Béatrice pastel flowers is merino wool too, Lauren in perfect green yak jumper is pricey but it is soft and great cut, no itch.
Hello ! Thank you 🥰❤️ I hesitated a lot for the Camilla, they have a lovely brown shade too ! I didn't order it because the sleeves seem to be quite long, and in a "flare" shape so I cannot easily roll them up 😩 The Lauren looks gorgeous too, I'm not wearing many turtlenecks anymore but maybe I'll give it a try who knows ! 🥰
I don’t buy Sézane sweaters anymore. I wish they were 100 percent wool but they have that polyamide in it and they are itchy. I’d rather buy one soft quality wool sweater than 5 Sézane sweaters.
Totally understand 😊 Sézane also does 100% merino wool sweaters, like the Paulo I'm wearing in the video, or the Lyna which is also one of my favourite 😊👍 I don't mind a bit of synthetic fiber as long as it remains a minority - and they don't fly around or get itchy obviously 😂
Pilling and shedding is inherent to natural fibres like wool, particularly the soft ones like merino, or the silk mohair types... the problem is that nowadays people are obsessed with 100% natural fibres but then complain about their particularities... a soft fibre will pill more easily than an itchy one, but of course it can vary... If you want a soft fibre, very easy to care (machine washable) and affordable.... I'm afraid the option is not the natural fibre... and that explains why people went so crazy with the acrylics and so forth when they began to be available on the market, because 100% wool is very often not that comfortable and not that easy to wash... besides being quite expensive. The textile industry switched to the artificial fibres not only because it was cheaper, but because people quite often prefer it. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying I prefer artificial fibres, as an avid knitter it's rather the opposite, and I very seldom use artificial fibres... but for socks for example, it's almost an obligation to have a blend with at least 20% polyamide if you don't want your socks to fall apart only after a couple of wears (and believe me, when you spend quite some time knitting them you want them to last 😅 ). As consumers we sure have to care about quality, but we cannot demand miracles from the companies making the clothes and I think there's quite some misinformation about the reality of the textile production, which does not help them improving their production either...😊
I understand what you mean, but on the other hand the 100% merino wool or 100% cotton sweaters from Sézane are not itchy... And there are natural fibers ? 😊 I don't necessarily mind a minor percentage of synthetic fibers either 😊
Love that you mention the itchiness, shedding, fabric composition, and your height and typical shirt size (for reference). So very helpful! I love Sézane and I’m petite too. 😊
Thank you !! 🥰❤️
I try to share everything I would be interested to see too, if that makes sense 😅🥰
Thanks for your reviews! Love your itchiness meter. That is a deal breaker for me so I appreciate you noting that on every item.
Thank you !
I really don't understand their latest knitwears 😩
Thank you so much! You’ve changed my mind on several items. Appreciate you trying these items out
You're welcome, thank you for watching ❤️
Your itchiness scale from ☁️ to 🌵 is so cute!! I find your reviews so helpful as I’m your same height and I have your same style 😊
Thank you !! 🥰
Hahaha yes, I've had enough with their itchy jumpers 🤪
Thank you very much Delp in the City. So disappointing that there is so much itchiness and polyamide. It really puts me off. I got the cream Lyla and do like that. Seems to be more wool and just a slight itch. You might like it too. The sleeves are long though.

Yes, the itchiness is annoying 😔
If you mean the Lyna, it's indeed 100% merino wool and I LOVE it too, I have it in cream and navy blue 😍😍
Really nice Delphine! Thank you for the insightful video✨
The most helpful review I've seen!
Awww thank you so much !! ❤️❤️
Luoison is really nice on you, I cannot wear mohair at all😢
Omg thank you so much for this video. I have been eyeing for a few pieces (MATHEO for example) but haven’t seen any try-on online and struggled to decide which I should order. And this video helps a lot!!!!! Thank you❤
Thank you for watching and for your kind comment !! I'm very happy I could be helpful 🥰🥳
love your sezane reviews! :)

Very helpful. I just can’t wear the fluffy itchy knits. And so much polyamide! Only wool or wool cotton blends work for me alas.
❤️❤️
I don't mind a bit polyamide, but it should not be itchy ! 😅
Nils looks nice on you, I also liked Samy in Burgundy😊
Thank you for the informative video. I heard that the Sami in burgundy was larger than the previous ones so I think getting your normal size is best. Everyone sized up because the ecru one was on the smaller side❤ I think this is an issue only for the burgundy one and not the green one.

Oooh thank you 🥰❤️

Yes, I hope so too... Some are fine, look for their 100% merino wool ones, or the ones with only cotton & merino 😊👍
