Biffs, I noticed the hospital issue a few episodes ago. It has protected bike lanes on the same side of the road as the hospital, making it impossible for ambulances to get out. I hope this helps.
~3:50 "Why do they instantly take this road" because you created the intersection, made it dedicated turning lanes and then they were in the lane where they can only turn left, that's why they had to take it once you resumed the simulation.
This sounds like my local council! "We've changed the road layout but we're not going to tell you that until you're already stuck in the wrong lane..."
Not only that, but I think the game only recalculates the travel path if the changes make the current path impossible. In this case they could simply take a left turn, make a u-turn at the end and then get back out again... no need to recalculate.
Biffa last Teaport Episode: Lets leave the university open bc its far enough away Biffa this episode: Yeah lets delete the university and build our other university over it

I liked the look back at a young, naïve Mayor Biffa. I often wondered if you looked back at your early cities and are like "Whaaaaaaaat(you heard it in Biffa's voice don't lie) was I thinking?" Like your lane mathematics went from adding lanes before a highway exit to taking away lanes after to get turning lanes. You embraced timed traffic lights over roundabouts in certain instances. Biffa should really connect the last road from the HW roundabout junction near Tea Cozy Heights to the road that is heading to the part of the city that is next to the mountains [at 17:04]. That small connection will help reduce the traffic on the other roads from that area, and it can be done with a few road segments!
Biffa, the man who has Resize It! and doesn't use it to resize the selection panels. It can help you see more items at once, making it easier to see what you can choose (while also reducing how much you have to scroll). I use that mod and usually have it set to 2x13
I use Traffic Manager to control train routing, In the same way that certain vehicle types can be banned from certain sections of road, passenger or cargo trains can be barred from certain sections of rail which can relieve rail congestion. For example you can ban cargo from passing through multi-platform stations and re-route these trains via bypass or underpass lines. Another thing I do is only allow intercity trains to call at stations towards the edge of the city, thus requiring passengers to transfer onto you defined rail network. One more way Traffic Manager can come in useful regarding trains is using lane connectors to define the paths of intercity trains at stations they do serve.
'Mayor, people die because of the noise, we need to do something about it'. 'Don't worry, let's just build a better crematorium so we can remove them faster' hahahaha.
I mean, I will say this - it makes some sense to stick the eldercare under the highway. Not in a cruel "they're gonna die anyway" kind of way, but because it's natural for hearing to fail as we get older. The old folks are probably less bothered by the noise from the highway than the younger people in surrounding buildings are. A whole bunch of them will in fact have the option of "muting" the world in that they could just turn their hearing aids off when things get too loud.
What's funny is that you went back to your first city to fix it and I had been doing that over the last week. Just revisiting old cities and trying to correct some of the issues without really changing the city.
Tyler went to the park to meet the wife and Kids :-) the park needs a Ferris wheel! like the London Eye how about since the park is shaped like a curve handle park or tea-handle park?
The cars turns in to the dead end road because you force them with putting dedicated turning lanes when they already passed the last node before then junction.

Take a look at these coordinates in Amsterdam 52.323530,4.937448 Perhaps you could replace the rail interchange with something like that?
you should add one of those multi level parking lots next to the stadium, so it gives people time to walk to the park station and leave, maybe that will reduce the traffic in that area
I believe the problem with the hospital not sending ambulances, is the modded roads with bike paths and parking..It's not connecting to the hospital....Change a little section to one from vanilla type just in front of the hospital and see what happens
