I remember growing up in China, I used to see these electric mopeds almost everywhere, it’s so nice to see these things here in the states, brings back old memories!

The reason those helmets actually use a D-ring instead of a standard clip is because they force you to tension it properly every time you put it on, and D-rings are actually much stronger than clips - making it more likely to stay on your head in the event of an accident.
Glad you made this video because I literally saw them everywhere in the city last week but didn’t know how does that work and what the prices are. Going to give it a try soon!

wahhh wahhhh wahhhhhhh.. revel isnt getting shut down. still alive. it was never getting shut down. i know this because my father works for the company and he never lost his job and he started working in april of 2020. who gives a fuck if someone filters. literally everyone does it because as it seems.. theres not really much of a need to sit in traffic when you can literally just go around safely in the median.
I ride a 700cc Yamaha and I’m scared of Revl riders but I’m sad to see this go during Covid because it allows people to avoid the subway. But when I saw a dad and his young son ride helmetless over the Williamsburg bridge I didn’t think it could last. And it didn’t.
From a motorcyclist - Please wear a helmet and obey all traffic laws

The amount of d-bags in NYC caused the ban. This is why we can't have nice things.
I was riding my bicycle in the bike lane and someone on a revel scooter came at me riding the wrong way and texting while riding. He almost hit me. I steered my bike out of the way at the last second. He never even noticed me.

First it takes two to three days to approve your account so don’t try and get a revel as soon as u download the app and register it doesn’t work like that

2:50 that'll give you a moving violation ticket for riding on the crossed-line shoulder lane and can potentially cause an accident. Not such a good example to show these newbies trying to ride one of those for the first time.

Just be on the Lookout for the Drunk, Careless Intoxicated people riding them at night - through Queens. You will typically see them. on a Friday or Saturday between 9pm - 1am in Astoria or L.I.C. - riding on Sidewalks or Crashing into Park Cars.

Scooter front brake are dangerous even for experienced rider, who r not use to it..
Its place on the right, causing many right handed ppl to rely on it more.
In sudden stop it often caused the bike to swerved out of control.
Used scooter only cost $1500, with good resale value..

The scooter is it going to cause more accidents and insurance prices will go up. The people who ride the scooters don’t care about traffic laws are respecting traffic
people don't even drive their cars normal anymore, 3 point turns everywhere, blowing stop signs, U-turns in busy intersections, there's zero worry about getting stopped by police, so why's letting first time scooter drivers loose on the streets gonna harm anyone?
