Same😊 If you were 15, then I was 17 and in my senior year. We had the best music, didn't we? I don't think I've heard or even thought of this song since then lolol

Neve was on a long list of bands that were doing well in the late 90s, but after 9/11/2001 record labels tried to cut any bands that were seen as too risky, and Neve never got much further than this one hit from 1998.

Lead singer and frontman John and some neighbors in Simi Valley CA have joined together and formed a Covid 19, neighborhood band this summer to entertain restrained neighbors and bring sunshine into our lives. For only being together a few months, they sound amazing. Nothing is better than an intimate venue like a neighborhood street band.
I used to talk to John on the phone in the 90s. He was doing Chapter 29 at the time. He had just started working with someone on Neve stuff. John if you ever read this, it's Dave from Michigan.

Somehow, the beat of splenders “yeah, whatever” popped in my head, and was the start of going back through 90’s/early00’s alt music.. damn time really flies so fast.. this era was definitely the best era for alt music.. with unknown bands producing hits, here and there..
Just finished showing my 10yr old nephew and 12yr old niece this movie. They loved it and this song! This movie came out when I was 9yrs old, I'm now 33, damn how time flies.......

They are the closest thing to the quality of rock music that I grew-up with in the 90's. Songs like "Handwritten" and "The '59 Sound" and "Here Comes My Man" are great!
Yeah, this is STILL so SO catchy, just great. They played for the staff at WXDX in Pittsburgh during our lunch one day and they were great, really nice guys. I hope they still get to do music stuff these days.
