- ‘Tis the season for shopping online. Every year, Toni Hillison Barnett from Kentucky and her family ensure her delivery drivers are taken care of. Which got one UPS driver named Dee very excited. Along with the snacks was a nice note. Dee returned a few days later, and that response was just as sweet. Tori says the treats are her way of saying thanks. Inside Edition Digital’s Andrea Swindall has more.
I love how such a small act of kindness can change a person's day completely.

During the holidays, the delivery drivers work very long hours and most of the time don't have time to stop and eat. This really helps. We need more people like this in our world.
I am a retired mail carrier and had several houses on my route for all the delivery drivers and I greatly appreciated the thoughtfulness and kindness. It warmed my heart and made those long days worth it. ❤
Aye not gonna lie, when I delivered, coming up to a house that surprisingly had a wide array of snacks and beverages for their delivery drivers was honestly the best feeling ever and made me feel just the more appreciated so I fully understand and can relate to this!
I use to be an amazon driver and honestly I'll never forget when I got snacks and drinks on my route. such a little thing like that makes a huge difference in a drivers day, also the note thanking them really goes along way.
Dude how did I never think of this before?! I just hope this act of kindness doesn't get corrupted like everything else in this world by having non-delivery people hear of the house w/ the free snacks and come and steal the food not meant for them. If that's the case then like the saying goes, this is why we can't have nice things.
In my country I know for a fact that would happen. But also our delivery people don't leave our packages at the door for that very reason that someone will steal it, you HAVE to be home to accept it or it goes back.
I love how Dee took the appropriate amount of snacks. Kid has manners I love it 😂😂😂 took one from each level & made sure to thank them for the viral exposure. Class A young man 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
As an Amazon driver, this makes me SO happy. We really appreciate it. In the winter we don't get water so getting water while working up a sweat is like heaven sent! So thank you to everyone who does this.

Love this. We do the same for delivery people. Best response I caught on the ring was our UPS guy growling cookie just like the Cookie Monster and then bowing and leaving.

This is one of my favorite parts about delivering this time of year. I delivered for Amazon around Maryland and walking up to a porch with a kind note and snacks melted my heart every time!
When people leave things out for the delivery drivers it makes us feel appreciative and that people care about us, thank you to the people that do it

This really is such a good idea! My husband and I met one guy last year he had been working double shifts snowing out and his wife was sick in the hospital w COVID he wasn't allowed to see her for a month but you could tell he was exhausted and a bit down We gave him a big coffee mug of hot chocolate and a donut he was over the moon!! Small things can make big impacts ❤️

I love how this person shows their appreciation to delivery drivers by leaving goodies outside. I also like how the UPS driver gets excited over the goodies.
For someone to show love and appreciation does not have to cost you an arm and a leg , the small things sometimes leaves the biggest impressions , much love to the giver of the love and appreciation for these workers

We did this this year too❤ We moved in last December and the mail/delivery people have been SO GREAT and carried a lot of heavy things upstairs when they could have left it at the bottom for us!

That’s awesome you have no idea how much these snacks mean. I spent a few months delivering & was so happy to get snacks. And made sure to always be respectful & only take one. I’ve been wanting to do the same thing but my location isn’t a good one for it. But I know how it feels when drivers get these. Thanks

The whole cart would go in one go and those making deliveries wouldn’t even get to grab a snack. My UPS driver rocks though. He’s always tucking my packages away so they can’t be seen, even when my car is in the driveway.

I’m a driver helper currently. Whenever someone leaves out snacks and water for us and the drivers it is VERY much appreciated. We can have as many as 300 stops to complete in a day during the peak season. I actually received a tip today and I’m gonna be donating it to charity for the holiday season. There’s people who need it more than I do.

I promise those snacks really really do make us so happy. Alot of times we're so busy, especially during Christmas season, that we don't even get to eat. We work from sun up to sun down.
