i have a phone with its own email, but im trying to sign into something that is linked to another phones email that i forgot the password to so every time i type the email of the old phone i click the t 'change password' then it sends the email to the phone i dont have so how do i link the old email to my new phone which will send the verification code to mine
I just watched your video on syncing email over all my devices. I have a question…..I have 3 email accounts each with a different .com or .net. How do I sync them?
You could have them all forwarded to a single gmail address. I also have 3 email addresses that I want to keep separate. On my phone, I simply have them all go into the "All Inboxes" folder so that I can keep track of them in one place. Hope that helps!
This sounds like a wonderful idea, but I have a question. After setting everything up to forward to the new gmail account, now when replying to an email, doesn’t the recipient see your gmail address in the sender field rather than your “old” email address?
Yes, unfortunately, your sending address will now be the Gmail account. I just asked my mom who has been using this for years. She still gives out her old address, but doesn’t mind that the sending address is the new gmail one. Your satisfaction with this solution would hinge on how much of a problem that would be!
There is a way in Gmail to make it look like your original address. I have been doing this for years. Here is a quick tutorial I found that "appears to be the" steps needed. (I quickly reviewed them and if I recall they are what I did to have my email from me@mylamepop3emailprovider.com in Gmail.) When I receive a message that came from that provider, Gmail knows when I hit reply to use that email providers SMTP server to send the message so it comes it looks like it came from me through them to the recipient. Hi although I wasnt able to complete this sync, i wonder if you can help with the fact that somehow during my attempt I lost my contact names in my messages on iphone. Phone numbers and messages are still there but when i check contacts the names are gone. Ive tried all the internet suggestions so far, any thoughts??
Hello, just want to ask question you might know to do it, just received a notification on Facebook account about " information suggestions for this page ' current email add business ad was cross out and they suggested an email that I'm not using it they gave a (choice reject or accept). thanks
Thanks for the great info. I do have a question, i have always had a pop3 email account and that's how i would sign in to google. Out of the blue google changed my pop3 to to a gmail account. I tried putting thinks back the way it was but google says i can't change that e-mail address. In google account settings it has my old e-mail as alternet. This all happened after my Grand daughter checked her gmail on my pc. Thank You.
my email was synced to my brothers phone he said he deleted it but i dont think he did but i chanded my password would that unsync it from my brothers phone

Hi, Paul. I’m not sure exactly what happened here. Are you still able to get mail sent to your Pop3 email address in that account?
Yes that still works.But when i click on my picture it shows my name and the gmail address. I have never used gmail for email.
