I'm not (yet) a fan of this applicator - can't see whats going on and I've found for some reason the nozzle keeps getting clogged. Its a real pain in the arse. One other hint - it helps to warm Smoove before applying so its thinner and more chance of it getting into the innards of the chain where its needed.
Hi thanks for your video. I just got into biking and bought muc-off dry lube. Ive since done some research and have found very negative information on their lube. Smoove on the other hand has a very good rep. Whats your thoughts on this? Also where did you buy this lube? Im in Cape town. Thanks again
Hi, Thanks for watching. I live in PTA. But you can get it at any bike shop. I actually got it at my local specialized shop. It’s good lube. But I have found like most lube. It will have to be reapplied on long rides of over 100km. It is also a dry lube (wax based). Dry lubes should only be used in dry conditions. No rain. If it’s wet out. You need to apply a wet lube. @@BrianMaynardLetsDoThisThingI've just bought some to try as I'm fed up of the grinding paste produced by other chain lubes. They claim it's good in all conditions. I've yet to try it but was surprised by your comment about it being not suitable in the wet. Fingers crossed it works for me as I'd love it to be the only chain lube I need 🤞
Overpriced tiny bottle. For people who ride regularly it serves no purpose to purchase all these tiny bottles. These companies need to offer bigger bottles to lower the total cost down for everyone. The same goes for all other lubes, degreasers and so on.
To find the right lube and test them they should even offer smaller bottles. But also bigger if you want to go with this brand. Effetta Maripose Flower Power Wax offer 100ml and 500ml bottles.

I dont like the applicator. Not enough control. You cant see how much you put on each link.

Just use a syringe.
