are there any space left in the strap for a tubeless plug set?
@@frankyao5854 I would say no. It’s a tight fit once the tire has been rapped around the center holder.
Shram???
Does your bike show some of the carbon fibre through the finish in places? Was looking at one at my lbs in the same colour as uours, and I thought it looked a bit rough, with the carbon just showing in a few places, looked almost like wear, but it's brand new.
@@kyrorocks Yes I can see it on the top tube
@BrianMaynardLetsDoThisThing Then it's probably as it should be! The sales person said that it's not painted, only a clear coat. It felt great though and I Kinda like the raw look. Thanks for making the video and enjoy the bike!
@@kyrorocks I was wrong. I can see it on the down tube. On the top tube I can see where they have added extra carbon around the bolts where you can attach a bag. I can also see a join line in the middle of the top and down tube
@@BrianMaynardLetsDoThisThingAllright! Well, as long as it feels like it should I think it's pretty cool that you can see the structure. Are you happy with the ride quality?
@ Yes you can have a look at this video where I’m riding the bike. ruclips.net/video/1ceINWna2U0/видео.htmlsi=0fKIWXwgnu2SxVVl
Just use a syringe.
Does the CPRO2 Trigger fits on the Road Bandit? Mine didn't come with the mini version for some reason.... Thx a lot!
@@ricardoandresmartinezsoto3418 the CPRO2 will not fit in the provided plastic holder. In the MTB version there is a pocket in the strap where it can fit. But not in the road version
Mate you clipped a right shoe into a left pedal... of course the interface between them is gonna be crap.
@@james.shafiei No. just went to check and it’s the same
@@BrianMaynardLetsDoThisThing lol watch the video again. The right pedal in shimano pedals have the warning labels attached in the box and that is on the table in the video. The pedal you are holding is clearly the left pedal as the shimano logo is upside down when you’re holding it in the right orientation and the right way up when holding it in the left. I’ll sure I don’t need to tell you how identify a right shoe... You clipped a right shoe into a left pedal. These pedals are designed to contact at the rear of the platform. You obviously have it backwards.
Okay I hear what you are saying. But the pedals are currently on my back. And if I clip the shoes in. Can’t make a mistake as they are on the bike and the shoes are facing the correct way 😊. There is still a gap. I can make another video showing this as I need content 😊
I think I will make a short showing the shoe in both directions. If you are right. I will give you the credit for pointing out my mistake.
@@BrianMaynardLetsDoThisThing I don’t need to be credited in anything, I just reckon you should add an annotation to this video because people are obviously landing here looking to see h the shoe interacts with pedal but clipping in backwards kinda voids whatever is shown. There will always be a gap in the shoe you’re using as they have a huge forefoot drop and are designed for XC/eggbeater style pedals. These trail and downhill pedals are designed for flat sole style shoes like the Fox Union or Five Ten Hellcat.
Static versus kinetic friction this test is flawed .
My Wahoo Kickr v4 power and cadence sensor stop, how can I dix it?
What? I'm getting 2000kms+ per GX chain and they don't even measure as 0.5% wear by that point. I have 3 chains that get rotated around every 600kms or so.
I rode an ebike with X01 chain 3000 kilometers.
I kinda wanted to know how to switch from Schraeder to Presta…
@@LenMarten You just unscrew the from and rotate the adapter and replace it again
Who manufactured your bicycle repair stand? 🤷🏼♂️
@@ellerybice3787 It’s a Tork Craft Bicycle Repair Stand. But not the best. The system that is used to adjust the angle of the bike in the stand doesn’t work that well and always slips. But it was very cheap and had lasted for years

Great bike! Can you share your body spec for size 56? Considering getting one. Thanks!
@@DanieldailyUS I’m 1.82m tall. What other measurements do you need?
@@BrianMaynardLetsDoThisThing I think information is sufficient, thank you. Frame size 56 for 182m makes sense. I'm 173 and Specialized measurement said 52 is an ideal frame size for me. Did you also consider Diverge Comp Carbon? It appears to be a certain upgrade but x1 drivetrain with extra 1k~1.5k $$ doesn't convince me much. Since i never experienced the single drive chain.
@@DanieldailyUS I did look at it. But I wanted the 2x, and the seat post and sock can be upgraded later if you want. They both have the same rims so no advantage there

Muc off is the best
Finally I ve got the answear if ithe platform supports the shoe, thanks!!!
Depends on the shoe... with a flatter sole on my AM503 shoes, the rear part of the “cage” is definitely in contact with the sole and thus offers more contact surface, which is why I definitely prefer this pedal shape.
@@LethWinchester AM503 are my top favourite to buy, thanks!
Hi. Thank you for the video. It helped me choose between Topeak and Blackburn. I'm used to Bar units and that means that Topeak is not for me. Why? Because of 4:30. Two decimal places in Bar mode. 1 Bar = 14.5 psi so if you want similar measurement resolution in Bar mode you need additional decimal place. 1.1 Bar and 1.0 Bar in my front plus tyre feel completely different. Topeak in Bar mode barely has enough resolution to distinguish the two.
Why didn’t they make it so all 5 tool bits fit in the handle for carrying it?
@@colinowen7526 good question 😳

I'm sure when I first bought Jegwire's compressionless Kevlar reinforced brake housing set in 2004, the bike shop owner had these Park Tool c🤘tters🤘
Will this work on Jegwire's compressionless Kevlar reinforced brake cable housing and their compressionless shifter housing? The feller I'm planning on taking my bike to doesn't think the pair he has will.
@@glen3509 I have never used them with Jegwire’s housing. But from some research on the web. They will not do a great job. Maybe do some test cuts first. But I think it’s going to cut the housing leaving the cut section squished in. You will then probably have to use something to open the cut end again. Not ideal.
I’d like to see how attaches to the bike as I’ve got to water bottle racks
Thanks !
What type of chain ring were you using when you got 6600km off the XX1 chain? Was it an aluminium x-sync or a steel one?

Is this the 2024 version ?
@@jian5679 yes it is on the Specialized Diverge
I have the topeak as well and my issue with it is that due to the way it engages with the presta valve head, I find it impossible to put it on without deflating the tire somewhat. So it would have been interesting to see whether the other gauges also read 17 PSI after the topeak had been used.
thank you brian ❤

OMG, thanks ur video. That's issue of my trainer now. Thanks. I will try
I have the same saddle and just experienced the same break.
Can you shared how you built that?
What the bridge?
I didn’t build it. It’s a feature at our local bike park. But it just has poles suspending it above the water. When the dam fills up. Parts of the bridge get submerged. But it’s winter here at the moment and there is almost no water in the dam. So now it’s just a bridge with no water. I’m going there tomorrow if you want me to send some pictures when there is no water.
I suspect your Topeak might have a worn gasket that leaks a little. If that's true, Topeak might sell spare gaskets. Personally, I have a Topeak Smartgauge D2X, and a Topeak Shuttle Gauge Digital. I definitely prefer the D2X of the two. The D2X appears very similar to the D2, with as I understand it only a few minor differences. The D2X is a pretty flat thing while the D2 is more cylindrical, the D2X gives the reading in PSI with one decimal, and it will measure up to 280 PSI, something I don't ever expect to use. The Shuttle Gauge is in my opinion a little bit more cumbersome, it has a lever so that it will lock onto the valve, which is useful, but I always worry a little that I might bend the valve by mistake if I use the lever a bit clumsily. The lever, plus the all metal construction, also makes it a little bit bigger and heavier, and I also believe more expensive. On the positive side, it has a pass through valve that allows you to attach a pump to the gauge, and turn any old pump into a manometer pump, or I can use it to verify that the pressure gauges on my pumps are accurate. That's certainly very useful, but 9 times out of 10 I will reach for the D2X. Just like the D2X, the Shuttle Gauge Digital shows decimals in the PSI readings, and it measures up to 300 PSI. Both gauges turn on automatically when you attach them to a valve, and will turn off automatically if the measured pressure doesn't change for a minute or so. Not sure if the D2 does that. Also worth knowing is that there is a Shuttle Gauge Analog, which has an analog display instead of a digital one. This one is a lot bigger than the Digital and I don't really see why people buy it. I guess some people hate batteries, or maybe they like the way it looks and keep it somewhere where it's clearly visible. I don't need that, after all it's just a pressure gauge.
Maybe I should add that I just saw someone reviewing the Shuttle Gauge on RUclips and he was a lot more positive about it than I am and seemed to think it was amazing, so maybe you should consider it despite what I just wrote. 😃
Thanks. Really appreciate the detailed feedback.
Whats up guys .Sad news ,I bought a brand new epic evo with GX casette and chan and derailer and the chain only lasted 2months ….any suggestion on what chain I should by next? Bike shop told me I should go for a kmc chain because of my way of riding😅
Yes get a X01 or XX1
My kickr has noise and the watt cannot show on Zwift. I tried to have spin down. But it failed. May you know what the issue is and how to fix it? Thank you so much
Hi, Does it power on? If you move the counter weight wheel around by hand is the noise also there? If the noise is still there. You will have to remove the chain and the try again as above. If the noise is still there you will have to start to dissemble it. It could be a bearing that has gone. The only issue that worries me is that you are not getting the power readout. If you ride on Zwift. does it change power as instructed by Zwift or does this not work anymore either?
@@BrianMaynardLetsDoThisThing thanks a lot, I try to see if it works
