Very impressive driving. The Cheetah has to be one of the hardcore racecars to ever take the track. Blindly fast but great drivers still lost control of these. I looked up every Cheetah that was built and raced (which was pretty much all of them) and each one crashed. They were later rebuilt but wow! Scary reputation. To run with a modern supercar (with every computer controlled safety and handling trick in the book) is so cool and so satisfying to see. To take it is even better. That driver has skill to match the size of his balls.
The McLaren Driver ain't all that either. Missed a lot of braking spots and lost a lot of speed in corners for a super car! But that cheetah was first made 60 years ago and that's a fairly new McClaren! Casey is one hell of a driver but he was on the edge just to keep up. Hitting braking spots hard and late, carrying speed thru and acceleration at the edge of traction. Very nice.
Man that McLaren was toying with that cheetah. Probably never gave it more than a 1/2 throttle. It was nice of him to slow down and throw the cheater a bone.

As I recall, the cheetah has no retractable wing (or virtually any other gadget). However, it weighs 1500 pounds.

Plot twist: McLaren was in limp mode due to faulty sensor. :(
