That's what I hate about these NGOs and their activities
Now talking about NMSEZ which was proposed in Navi Mumbai in 2008-2009 nowadays nobody's talking about it and the plan has seen no progress since then as it has been put on halt because of some environmentalists Also in the primaeval times there was opposition during the time of construction of NMIA I do get their point but why always come in between that would literally put the development of the country in doldrums

Oh really andhbhkton..under ground project was started in 2004..A 20 km (12 mi) metro line from Colaba to Bandra was announced in January 2004, as part of a master plan unveiled by the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA). The plan encompassed a total of 146 kilometres (91 mi) of track, of which 32 kilometres (20 mi) was proposed to be underground. The MMRDA unveiled plans for an extended Colaba-Bandra-SEEPZ metro line in 2011. According to its earlier plans, a 20 km (12 mi) metro line from Colaba to Bandra was to be constructed, running underground for 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) from Colaba to Mahalaxmi, and then on an elevated track from Mahalaxmi to Bandra. The MMRDA decided to extend the line to the Chatrapati Shivaji International Airport to increase ridership. The 33.5-kilometre (20.8 mi) Colaba-Bandra-SEEPZ line was estimated to cost ₹21,000 crore (US$2.6 billion),[21] have 27 stations, and would be the city's first fully underground metro line.[22] at Nariman Point, BKC, MIDC, SEEPZ, and elsewhere.[23] According to the MMRDA, an underground metro will minimise land acquisition and disturbance to traffic during construction compared to an elevated metro.tumhara Abba Credit lene ajta bus

Well I truly Appreciate all the efforts of Government and Construction Companies and Project Associates for building such an amazing Infrastructure. But at what cost we are gaining this convenience is the most important aspect here. Firstly major part of aarey was eradicated which was a loss for ecosystem. Also many of roads were almost vanished which caused traffic a lot. Many of playing grounds and parks were digged which is quite understandable but they were not restored as it was before.
So never forget the cost and sacrifice we have to give to enjoy this convenience 🙂
