  • This is my mom's car. It started fine back then when my mom first bought it back in 2010 and she had a purple 1999 Plymouth Grand Voyager Van and that van was falling apart and it was rusting out. This car won't start. We tried and I never seen a dead battery on a Dodge Journey before in my life lol

    OMG! I'm a woman and know that you have to let the battery charge some before it will start. Goodness! SMH.

      Rite tho it's not going to start right off the bat as soon as you plug the cables up

      The horn blows everything lit up but he has a bad connection. Smh. Gotta give the battery time.

    • @YeeeeeHaaaaa
      @YeeeeeHaaaaa Год назад

      Get them to check the connections for you. They are just standing around. You have very good cables as far as I can see but if you don’t have the connection then it’s worthless. They should be at both vehicles with both clamps in hand making sure at all times you have good connection. You shouldn’t even have to get out of that Journey if you have help like that. I’d kick my friends in the a** if the6 did that crap to me…lol

    Nice, a Video on how not to start a Dodge Journey. you don't see that everyday.

    Should have revved that truck up to around 2,000 rpm or better and held it there a while and let it charge a while, man that battery is flatter than any old pancake.

      You can actually start a car with just a battery

  • @nicholaswoolsey7239
    @nicholaswoolsey7239 2 месяца назад

    My suggestion would be is to have one person in your moms car and have the other person in the truck holding the revs between 2000 and 3000 rpms and see if that’ll try to start the dodge journey

  • @TheBmack123
    @TheBmack123 4 года назад +3

    All you had to do was give the other car some gas to drive the amps through or wait a few minutes. also always hook negative up first, you know nothing about this.

  • @tnredneck2816

    start out by letting it charge for a couple mins instead of taking the chance of burning up your starter lol

    starter relay is bad or not a good connection...take lid off of fuse panel left side. STARTER RELAY. This is a safety feature Dodge put in to not allow the engine to start and damage more.. Or take a metal rod and tap the starter

    This guy has a very poor idea about car mechanics, when the battery has very little volts, he had to leave it getting some charge from the other truck and then starts it.
