When they were first starting out they didn't have the massive budget they do now, so the sets and effects are not nearly as grand. However the talent, style, uniqueness and energy Ateez always brings had been present since day one.
Ateez recently performed at Coachella so I’d definitely recommend checking out their stage but also Ateez’s Symphony No.9 ‘From the Wonderland’ from KLW is their most iconic stage that they (spoiler) performed it at Coachella!!!! They have a song called Black Cat Nero, that you would love. It’s actually a remake of an earlier song but Ateez put their own spin on it and took it to the next level. There is a music video that features the original artist, but I prefer the live performance they did of that song on the competition show Immortal Songs (they won). Both the judges and the audience’s jaws literally drop when they see Ateez’ performance. The Live performance they did of Symphony number 9 to the Wonderland on the Show Kingdom Legendary War (where they competed against Stray Kids and 4 other bands) is also a must watch. Stray Kids and Ateez have been friends ever since they did that show together in 2021, but I think Woo Young from Ateez and Chang Bin from Stray Kids were friends before that.

Ateez's lore is that they are time traveling space pirates who help overthrow oppressive governments. That is why the ship in the video and the news banner says that the Black Pirates' broke in. With pirates being their lore it is why Hongjoong is called Captain instead of leader.
Jongho is one of my favorite vocalists. I love his power vocals. He was the reason why I started listening to more of their music. It was a live show where he had to sit out the dancing and the camera always zoomed in on him during his parts and the fierce face that matched the voice sealed it for me.

Honestly, Crazy Form took me a fee listens before I could fully appreciate it. But now its a certified banger! They have some softer songs too, they performed Dreamy Day (which is on the same album as Crazy Form) on Sound BOMB 360 and it sounds soo good! And their live performance of Turbulence and even Mist is so 😩♥️

First off, let me say Thank You for your reaction. ATINY (fandom name, it's a combo of ATEEZ+Destiny= ATINY), love to see new ppl finding ATEEZ. Also, I would like to apologize in advance, the info I'm going to give, well I have a feeling that this post will be rather lengthy, please bare with me and it will help. Promise... So here we go, I hope you enjoy this part of the journey that we know as ATEEZ! Number one: ATEEZ is pronounced with a hard A, not a soft. So you say A, not UHH. And yes the second part of the name is pronounced like the word "tease." ATEEZ debuted on October 24th, 2018. When they debuted, they debuted with two MV's. First is called "Pirate King," second one is called "Treasure." Now remember these titles, you see when the guys debuted they started a storyline at the very start. And the storyline is entertwined with their songs, MVs, at the start they had a small "film" that gave us the beginning of what was to come. They also involve the fans as much as they possibly can. Many times, they have released double MVs, and then they ask fans to vote for which song we want to have as the official MV for that period. They also bring the story to the concerts. In their storyline they have these huge black balls that are in the sky everywhere. I like to call them the "Eye in the Sky," and yes it is because someone is on the otherside of that ball watching everyone below them. This includes the audience at the concerts. Their storyline itself is huge. The leader of the group, of whom the group and ATINY as well call him capitan, his name is Hongjoong, now he has told us, it has been 5 years since they debuted and not even half the story hasn't even been told yet. Every MV is a piece of the story, we have also been told, the MVs are not in order for the story. That is something that ATINY have figure out. After many of their videos there is a post credit scene that leads into their next video/next part of the story. It also gives us a sample of the next song. And those scenes are also connected. Now in my opinion, I yet have to hear a bad song, or see a bad video out of ATEEZ. They even have dance practice videos, and they give 110% in the practices. It's like watching them on stage. And as for their songs that I recommend for you to check out? My suggestion, start with Pirate King and Treasure. And after that, Say My Name, and HALA HALA. With these first 4 songs, it will get you started on their lore. Pirates, time travel, 2 different worlds, but are connected. Also very dystopian. Now, as for their live performances, well they are considered to be one of the best 4th gen groups out there. And there are a few that come to mind. A show from Korea called, Immortal Songs. This show takes younger or newer singers and ask them to redo older songs. And they can also have the original artist of the song. Now the guys have been on the show 4 times, winning 3 of those times. And they are the first 4th gen group to do so. 3 of the members were asked back to be judges. Their first appearance is the one you should check out. The song is called "Nero/ Black Cat," by an artist called Turbo. They showed their abilities and showmanship with this one. The second performance that everyone remembers is a show called "Road to Kingdom," thos show is 6 different guy groups, from 2 or 3 different generations of k pop. Each week they performed, and the fans got to vote on who won that week, and at the end would vote on who would be King. This performance is from the week they won. The song is called "Wonderland/Symphony #9." This performance was so good, that they decided to add the Symphony into it, and whenever they perform their song Wonderland, it's from The Road To Kingdom. Same show, another song they have called "Utopia," this one was done just for ATINY, not for the judges or the show, but for us. If you get a chance check that one out as well, you won't be disappointed. There is so much to ATEEZ that I could keep on writing for another hour, in regards to the storyline, and would still have more info. If you want to know more about the lore, KQ has 2 or 3 short films, starting at debut and Pirate King/Treasure. Oh, I almost forgot, one more thing then I'll stop, promise. Prior to debut, KQ Entertainment, their company released, technically 4, 1 to 1 1/2 minute performance videos. These were just dance videos, but it was our first look at them. The main reason why I'm telling you about these videos is one; they are frickin amazing performers. And two; these performance videos was the first chance a lot of fans saw them, and these videos also got them a lot of fans. Oh and for these performances, they are dancing to American hits. Another reason it caught people's attention. They looked so young in these videos. And I'm not sure if you have a bias yet, but if you do, I challenge you to watch the first of the three of them and see if you can find him. Last place on earth I would’ve gone looking for Beethoven’s 9th. I’ve performed it but there’s only Ateez version now. It’s theirs. Also their 2019 Wonderland mashup MAMA performance and DANCE PRACTICE!!! People kept thinking there was some kind of lighting thing going on but it was just them. Ateez dabbles on a lot of genres but i think you would like rocky (boxers ver), black cat nero (the live one is so much better imo) and their kingdom performance from the wonderland is legendary.

First off, let me say Thank You for your reaction. ATINY (fandom name, it's a combo of ATEEZ+Destiny= ATINY), love to see new ppl finding ATEEZ. Also, I would like to apologize in advance, the info I'm going to give, well I have a feeling that this post will be rather lengthy, please bare with me and it will help. Promise...
So here we go, I hope you enjoy this part of the journey that we know as ATEEZ!
Number one: ATEEZ is pronounced with a hard A, not a soft. So you say A, not UHH. And yes the second part of the name is pronounced like the word "tease."
ATEEZ debuted on October 24th, 2018. When they debuted, they debuted with two MV's. First is called "Pirate King," second one is called "Treasure." Now remember these titles, you see when the guys debuted they started a storyline at the very start. And the storyline is entertwined with their songs, MVs, at the start they had a small "film" that gave us the beginning of what was to come. They also involve the fans as much as they possibly can. Many times, they have released double MVs, and then they ask fans to vote for which song we want to have as the official MV for that period. They also bring the story to the concerts. In their storyline they have these huge black balls that are in the sky everywhere. I like to call them the "Eye in the Sky," and yes it is because someone is on the otherside of that ball watching everyone below them. This includes the audience at the concerts. Their storyline itself is huge. The leader of the group, of whom the group and ATINY as well call him capitan, his name is Hongjoong, now he has told us, it has been 5 years since they debuted and not even half the story hasn't even been told yet. Every MV is a piece of the story, we have also been told, the MVs are not in order for the story. That is something that ATINY have figure out. After many of their videos there is a post credit scene that leads into their next video/next part of the story. It also gives us a sample of the next song. And those scenes are also connected.
Now in my opinion, I yet have to hear a bad song, or see a bad video out of ATEEZ. They even have dance practice videos, and they give 110% in the practices. It's like watching them on stage. And as for their songs that I recommend for you to check out? My suggestion, start with Pirate King and Treasure. And after that, Say My Name, and HALA HALA. With these first 4 songs, it will get you started on their lore. Pirates, time travel, 2 different worlds, but are connected. Also very dystopian.
Now, as for their live performances, well they are considered to be one of the best 4th gen groups out there. And there are a few that come to mind. A show from Korea called, Immortal Songs. This show takes younger or newer singers and ask them to redo older songs. And they can also have the original artist of the song. Now the guys have been on the show 4 times, winning 3 of those times. And they are the first 4th gen group to do so. 3 of the members were asked back to be judges. Their first appearance is the one you should check out. The song is called "Nero/ Black Cat," by an artist called Turbo. They showed their abilities and showmanship with this one.
The second performance that everyone remembers is a show called "Road to Kingdom," thos show is 6 different guy groups, from 2 or 3 different generations of k pop. Each week they performed, and the fans got to vote on who won that week, and at the end would vote on who would be King. This performance is from the week they won. The song is called "Wonderland/Symphony #9." This performance was so good, that they decided to add the Symphony into it, and whenever they perform their song Wonderland, it's from The Road To Kingdom. Same show, another song they have called "Utopia," this one was done just for ATINY, not for the judges or the show, but for us. If you get a chance check that one out as well, you won't be disappointed. There is so much to ATEEZ that I could keep on writing for another hour, in regards to the storyline, and would still have more info. If you want to know more about the lore, KQ has 2 or 3 short films, starting at debut and Pirate King/Treasure.
Oh, I almost forgot, one more thing then I'll stop, promise.
Prior to debut, KQ Entertainment, their company released, technically 4, 1 to 1 1/2 minute performance videos. These were just dance videos, but it was our first look at them. The main reason why I'm telling you about these videos is one; they are frickin amazing performers. And two; these performance videos was the first chance a lot of fans saw them, and these videos also got them a lot of fans. Oh and for these performances, they are dancing to American hits. Another reason it caught people's attention. They looked so young in these videos. And I'm not sure if you have a bias yet, but if you do, I challenge you to watch the first of the three of them and see if you can find him.

I recommend you to react Dreamcatcher, it's the only group of kpop that incorporates rock and metal into their music and they are very talented. I suggest Deja vu ( it's a masterpiece) and their dystopia trilogy 1) scream > 2) Boca > 3) odd eye 😊

Their Kingdom performance. And no not the Wonderland one eEEEEEEEEVeryone talks about. Good but I liked their Answer/Ode To Joy performance way better. Last place on earth I would’ve gone looking for Beethoven’s 9th. I’ve performed it but there’s only Ateez version now. It’s theirs.
Also their 2019 Wonderland mashup MAMA performance and DANCE PRACTICE!!! People kept thinking there was some kind of lighting thing going on but it was just them. They go so hard they can’ never stop shaking the floor (or losing their clothing lol 😂)
