“Hongjoong needs to go to jail” took me all the way out 💀 fr tho he’s probably one of my favorite performers in general, you can always tell he’s having fun with it and he has such a unique style that I’ll never get tired of it. All of Ateez are such phenomenal artists, you can always trust them to take the stage by storm. Their artistry and stage presence is commendable, I honestly cannot think of anyone in the kpop community who I can compare their sound to, they truly have their own sound and style
I love how Hongjoong explained they keep working on their songs until they can say "Only Ateez can do this song." I've watched a lot of reviews of them and everybody says the same thing they are different.

They have successfully executed their operation. starting with yunho and wooyoung tech geniuses helping mingi and jongho infiltrate the place and steal the bomb to hongjoong and yeosang being menaces and blasting the city off. by the end of the MV they be celebrating their glory with an anthem. But, yeah Ateez back on their pirate tip. They are really just wild and free and bringing so much fun back to kpop.
A quick explanation of the story of the MV، As we saw in the beginning, Hong controlled the pirates and Ateez and woke them up from the illusion that the government had created. This is out of a motive of sacrifice, because Hong’s work is carried out in complete secrecy. We notice here that after the song Bouncy and Captain Hong’s control of the chili pepper, which is also used by the government to control people’s minds and also get rid of the masker, we notice that the Halateez are now liberated and preparing to leave. We watch Wooeng and Yunho repair the ship and Mingi and Jungho to take over. A mission with some evil officials and they defeat them, Seonghwa and San as well, and they are captured after declaring their freedom from government control and dancing in public, but they are freed. As for Hong and Yeosang, they had a mission to prepare something special for the ship to depart and depart, but the police catch them after Hong’s riot. Thank you for this reaction, this MV gives off Guy Ritchie vibes & reminds you of Snatch! I hadnt thought of it before but now that you mention it i can totally see it, with bouncy too. The scene of being run over is an homage to Trainspotting (directed by Danny Boyle). The scene is the same: the guy gets hit by a car, he put his hands over the capo, and looks at the driver and laughs maniacally, and then gets decked by a guy. The cinematic universe of ATEEZ's MVs is just so fun. This wasn't the most epic song, but the video puts the stakes of the "The World" storyline in the scale it needed, and it's great for that. Snatch was a great movie, i think I'll show it to the kids, i dont think they remember it. , San for sure knew what he was doing with that glove,🤣Seonghwa looks amazing in this! They all do, but i love his fits, he looks great in the corset thing with that shirt. & he does look majestic with that spikey thing. Yeosang looks really cool too (but rly its all of them lol) but he also got more lines in this song which is good to see, I honestly thought Seonghwa's Crown of Thornes represented the Stature of Liberty, cause ATEEZ are always fighting for Freedom 🗽 and in the MV, theres BE FREE referenced again, like from Halazia and Inception 😭 Idk, i could be wrong lol.
