Thank you for checking out Ateez! You're saying their name right. The rapper with the deep voice is Mingi. The "Felix-Effect" is more of a Stray Kids term to describe Felix's appeal and not something used to describe all deep voiced rappers or vocalists in Kpop. Ateez really stands out when it comes to their live performances, both in their live vocals and dancing. Their dance practices are worth checking out if you like that choreo.
Not a Felix thing. It’s just them. Felix has a low pitch but does more talk-singing and talk-rapping whereas Mingi raps with a heavy husk and dark rasp (he has some sort of a rock/punk type of tone) and Yeosang is actually the one who sings in the lower octaves. Unlike skz, ateez have 3 more members (Seonghwa, Yunho & San) who can go juuust as a full low octave as well so there is a lot of variety and beautiful harmonies in their music that I hope you can react to more

I think sometimes people compare Stray Kids (SKZ) and ATEEZ (ATZ) because they debuted the same year and both have great hype music, but they are quite different. SKZ tends to lean more rap and ATEEZ leans more vocal. In fact, the high notes you liked at the end of Answer's bridge were done by their youngest member Jongho, who is widely considered the best male vocalist of kpop's 4th gen. The groups are close with each other and two members, SKZ's Changbin and ATZ' Wooyoung, are besties. On the show Kingdom Legendary War the groups did 3 collaboration stages (rap, dance, and vocal) along with BtoB.
ATEEZ stands for A to Z or A TEEnager Z as in they have it all. They have a comeback May 31st. I recommend Guerrilla, Halazia, and Bouncy which along with Crazy Form are the Korean title tracks directly preceeding their upcoming release.
Bouncy and Wonderland are their most popular also!

If you want to check out other groups, I'd suggest Monsta X. They debuted in 2015, but without knowing your taste in music and only that you've enjoyed Ateez and Stray Kids, I think you may like them too. Some of their hits are Shootout, Love Killa, Gambler, Rush Hour, Beautiful Liar, but really their entire discography is pretty great.
Felix effect is basically how people react to Felix and his deep voice,not about deep voices in kpop.

Watch Ateez on Killing voice, so you can see their vocal. And the rapper Mingi's voice is deep and crispy, that's his voice even when he's talking
you have to listen: Love Poem... song of UI, but, Seungmin of Stray Kids, Jongho of ATEEZ and Eunkwang de BTOB are the interpreters in Kingdom... that was AMAZING!!!! You have to listen it!!!!!!!! Of course, if you want to listen a GOOD vocalists... Seungmin and Jongho are the best vocalists of 4th generation... Really they are worth listening to.

I don’t mean to be rude but pls don’t listen to the people here on RUclips who say and compare straykids to ateez.. they are very different and ateez mixes so much genres like country, ballad, orchestra, etc into their music to be compared to another group as “like skz” don’t want to be rude again just wanna be able to break this stereotype 😅

Im not gonna state what others have already said about comparisons, but I understand, as a new kpop reactor, you might find it normal to compare groups from time to time.
