I went there Sunday, the coaster is going to be great for my little coaster enthusiast son, between this, Penguin Trek and the re-opening of Freedom Flyer, I am going to have a ton of fun this summer seeing him smile.
Woo hoo Thank you Dan! Awesome coverage. They started that grouting and torque marks last Friday when I was there. Now to hear about the station video wall and the 4 phoenix, I really can't wait to ride it.
Well, color me surprised... they actually designed a station and put in a few theming totem poles throughout the ride.... cool, cool. Better than only being rocks underneath it. Still think it's a huge missed opportunity not having a tunnel or trench. 12:41 I've always found it wild that the entire coaster just sits on nuts on a bolt, basically. That's all that's holding those supports "up." Just some nuts slid down the bolt before placing the support. I suppose it's to allow adjustment.
@@aegisofhonor Inverted. It doesn't swing like an Arrow suspended coaster does. There's like a dozen of the newer Vekoma inverted/suspended family coasters, the model B&M made this to compete with, and they all have tunnels and trenches. I just think it's the strongest part of those rides and really adds a lot. Check out some of those POV.
Thanks Dan. Looking forward to BGW s 2025 project which is similar. Also this looks like when Griffon needs a paint job they can touch up this with the leftovers. It's the same exact color scheme.

Love the effort they're putting into this
Love the intro takeover 😂
Saw the POV yesterday and it reminded me so much of the Old Big Bad Wolf layout.
Thanks for the POV of Iron Gwazi Dan! Kinda needed that today 😊 and thanks for the construction coverage of Phoenix and thanks for all you do 😊❤️🎢
Glad you enjoyed! Thanks for your support!
Great video Dan. Damn Iron Gwazi is so cool!!
This looks so cool! 👌 🎉
Awesome!
Doing a great job man. All the best from Utah
1 train? Yikes, I guess being a short ride helps.

it's a swinging coaster that needs a lot of space around it, it's very very rare for those kinds of coasters to have a tunnel.

I just wish the coaster was longer, at least another 500 ft. And with only one train, I fear operations are gonna be pretty slow
Dispatches will be quick though
@@HugeRMCFanBoY-bx3od BG has notoriously slow dispatches
@@metallicnole4514 Iron Gwazi has HORRIBLE operations.

That odd mix of feeling like it's normal B&M track gage and yet seeing that it isn't designed for the normal high forces of an invert.
I hope this as well as peguin trek is open in june
Apparently there is news that the trains will have sum swinging. Looks very fun.
mmmhmmm
@@JakeCoasters Oh lord, it is he
I hope they release the soundtrack someday
WOW, the paint on IRON G didn't last long did it ..
I'm going to cry, no pink chickens! 😢
This coaster went FAST, I'm really surprised. But I guess it isn't particularly large.
Did they say or you read, there's only one train???? If so that's crazy...
They give an estimated opening date?
so is this the first inverted with sync audio ?
When are we getting an opening date
Hopefully soon!
phoenix theme makes more since in Egypt for this park
yes and no, they did say their are "phoenix" legends in other regions and whatnot, plus this is going where the old swinging ship phoenix was...

Ok this is going to be one of the best theme coasters of Busch gardens
Lol no
I am hearing a giga prototype is being planned for the Jungala area for 2025 or 2026.
I wonder why it's blue?
