How mich do those straw logs weigh? What size bag are you using for them? It looks like you already have holes in the straw logs, but they are not in th efruiting room yet, do you cut those in before the log goes into the fruiting chamber or are those tears , or some other reason?
Thanks ! Do you know how to easily get certified ? or is that critical to sell at farmers market(s) etc.
Can you grow mushrooms anywhere? Great video!
Hello. I would like to know about Pholiota Adiposa mushrooms. What can you do with these mushrooms? Is it possible to preserve?
Why are people using soy hulls when they contain glyphosphate?
About how much would a guy need to start on a small scale?
How is the business doing currently? I have over 25 years as a hobbyist mycologist and an opportunity just fell into my lap last month. I live in a rural state and their is a chain of grocery stores here that wants to buy mushrooms for all of their locations. I have never sold fungi. The people around here are, for the most part, poor, but I want them to benefit from the nutrition of fungi. What do you think it costs you to produce a pound of fungi? I am starting with Lions Mane, Chestnut, Blue and Gold Oyster. I was thinking of selling to grocery chain for 8 per pound. i want to profit for sure, but I don't only want the wealthy benefiting from my produce.
$20/lbs?? 😳
