I have this weird fear which is a mix of iatrophobia, the fear of doctors, and ludophobia, the fear of games, where I am afraid of a specific game. Please don't try to guess it, because seeing or hearing the name triggers my phobia. I'm still horrified of it to this day, which is why I get incredibly anxious when I walk into a store with games in it. I am aware that the fear is irrational, but it haunts me.
My cousin has fructophobia, this one time, his teacher told everyone to bring a fruit to school. He didn't bring it, the teacher had spare fruit, she was going to give it to him. He ran, ran to the back of the class, begging to not approach him with the fruit. Couple days later, he is ill.
The fact that you used the name fructophobia and not fruitophobia makes it look even more real. I’m not saying it’s false but yea. It sounds more scientific
I feel like nomophobia is affecting a lot of teenagers like me. Maybe. Idk. I don't like my phone being taken from me, not because of social media, but I have a caring boyfriend who listens to me when no one else does. I'm also not allowed to see him yet, so my phone is the only way to be in touch with him. I really hate having my phone taken away, because my parents wouldn't be reliable people to me to talk to.
Right? Growing up, I wasn't allowed to have friends. And when I finally was, nobody wanted to. So I leaned to social media to find friends who have the same interests as me. Not being able to talk to them because I got grounded really gets me panicking
Exactly, I stress when I think about my friends that I won’t be able to talk to. Or missing out on some news on twitter. I also panic a little if I agreed to do something the day before and totally forgot and now not being able to do it. If I didn’t open my phone for at least 4/5 hours I start stressing and getting dizzy
It's probably one of my phobias because it's one of my only ways of contacting my friends, who aren't able to go out and meet me especially during the quarantine. If I don't stay in contact with the people I love, I begin overthinking and think everyone hates me since they might feel like I'm ignoring them.
I'm don't like having my phone taken away because it's a good distraction for me. When I don't have my phone I don't have a source of entertainment, at night I have to listen to music or watch videos until I fall asleep to it. If I just lie in bed and close my eyes I get anxious and scared, as thoughts and questions just starts to echo in my head. I dont think its necessarily a phone it doesn't even have to be fun like studying I'd rather stress about exams and math then sleeping. I can't draw or even eat without my phone in hand I need to be listening to something or someone. It's stupid I know, but I'd go insane without gadgets

I have a fear that life is meaningless. Like we’re just ants living our our days until we die. Then the cycle starts all over with Barry anything changing.
I have ablutophibia. It's not as bad as it was. I got this phobia from an incident a few months ago while having a shower and almost fainting. I ended up collapsing in the middle of the hallway from the bathroom being too hot (it was a really cold day and I didn't notice) and having too much steam. It was a very scary day. I now have quick showers, and shower with the door open.
Haha, so funny! I'm a capricorn, and I'm the only person I know that can breathe through my eyes and destroy the government with the snap of my fingers. What about the rest of y'all?
Woah. That’s like the opposite of claustrophobia. I find that fascinating and relatable because usually when I’m the most anxious I prefer small spaces like hiding in moving boxes or closets or just being under my blanket. It gives me a sense of comfort that I can’t quite place, like I successfully hid from someone or something that was chasing me. Does this make sense?
Gem Rivers. Yeah I kinda have that to! I used to hide from my brother since he had a lot of anger issues, I would most likely hide in small places where he couldn’t reach.
I don’t think I have catorophobia, but a lot of the time when it is dark, I cannot look at my own reflection because it creeps me out and it feels like my face will turn into a monster.
im someone with decidiophobia, and it sucks honestly. when i am panicking, i tend to yell at others or even snap. i have my friends make decisions for me because i just cant do it. finding my non-binary name took me a full month. all because i was panicking because i needed to decide.
some of my favorite phobias include: Hexakosioihexekontahexaphobia thats a word its the fear of the number 666 Xocolatophobia the fear of chocolate Hippopotomonstrosesquipedaliophobia youll never guess what this one is its the fear of long words Phobophobia the fear of phobias Podophobia the fear of feet Novinophobia the fear of running out of wine
I think I used to have Decidiophobia when I had severe anxiety when I was 8, but I used to call it “the fear of lying”. It got so bad that every question took minutes to answer and usually ended up in my crying because I didn’t want to lie. I am SO GLAD I have grown out of it mostly, but still have some traits of anxiety left. It is really annoying because people are quick to judge and if they don’t get it they just think you’re being attention seeking/annoying, but it does suck.
I still have it too a little bit, and I think I have kept some anxiety with me. But yeah, it really sucks cuz no one gets you and they think you’re being unfair or stupid..
"The fear of others opinions" This video actually helped me and a loved one talk, as he didn't know he had this, and its helped clear some bumps we had in our relationship. I actually have Anchor phobia. I hate the wind and I never turn on the fan. I usually stay inside and life is a struggle. Life is even more of a struggle because I have allodoxaphobia, decidiophobia and catoptrphobia. It may seem fake but, I get scared when seeing myself in a mirror because I think it’ll come out and replace me. And with the decidiophobia it’s because i highly avoid and hate making decisions because I think I’ll make a bad choice. Finally with allodoxaphobia, whenever I hear/see someone’s opinion I try to hide from it because I’m not really sure.
1. Allodoxaphobia - Fear of other people's opnions 2. Decidiophobia - Fear of making decisions 3. Nomophobia - Fear without one's phone 4. Catoptrophobia - Fear of mirrors 5. Chorophobia - Fear of dancing 6. Ablutophobia - Fear of cleaning, washing or bathing oneself 7. Ancraophobia - Extreme fear of wind
Could just be like me... I'm not afraid of it, but my knees lack cartilage, so dancing friggin' HURTS me! There are a few slow dances that don't do too much harm, but for the most part, I'm out... peace. ;o)
I have catoptrophobia for a very weird reason…. Story: I was little and couldn’t sleep at night so I decided to play with a little mirror and act like it was a phone. After playing with it for a while I got bored and looked in it. But as I looked at the corner I saw a deformed me smiling and staring back at me over my shoulder. I looked and there was nothing but air when I turned around. I started crying and my dad came to check on me and I eventually fell asleep. Ever since I’ve been terrified and I actually got two phobias from that but one I didn’t know was developing over time. The fear was fear of empty spaces. I constantly look over my shoulder in fear of it ever since and I was only 7 or 8
I have decidiophobia. Ever since I was little I would freak out when asked to make choices. "But I like both things. *freaks out over what place to go and worries about if I'll regret it or I'll make someone upset" I'm getting better as I get older, but it's still stressful for me to make choices.
I haven’t smiled for 4 years, it started making me scared, I got mental anxiety in my childhood and I still haven’t got over it, I even forgot how to smile, some things I started thinking about is when I’ll die, when I’ll get old, and if my parents would still be alive when I’m an adult, I thought of a saying, ‘hurting someone’s feelings is as easy as throwing a rock in the ocean, but do you know how deep it can go?’ That’s my story.
You know, I kinda question our brains on this phobia. It's no one's fault they got it, but, you know, dancing is kinda just moving, just like walking or something. It's just in a rhythm. But you're doing that while walking too. So why does the brain create a phobia out of that?!🤔
I have this fear of what happens after death like when I was a child this affected me a lot I would just kinda stay awake thinking do I just not exist anymore I can’t feel anything think anything and I’m nothing But luckily I have kinda gotten over it I think the thing that helped me the most was learning about heaven and hell because it kinda just allows me to think there’s something were I can go after death.
Hi Hi I just stay awake thinking about this cuz I’m an atheist ;-; also I have a fear of pills, because I had a back surgery a few months ago and had to take like 8 different pills that gave me really bad nausea, and now I feel really nauseous every time I see a pill...
I have allodoxaphonia and didn't even really know it, like when i was a kid i was really open and talked to everyone that i could see on the streets, but since i was 8 or something like that something has switched inside of me. If i need to ask someone for advice or help i just can't because i always think that the person that i ask the question then thinks that i'm weird. This is also a huge problem at school like if i forgot my homework at home or accidentally forgot to do it i'm just scared to go to school because i just think that then the teacher just thinks bad of me. I didn't even tell my parents about this because i'm scared of their opinion, like my dad has asked me so many times '' why are you not like your old self anymore?'' or ''why are you so different from your old self?''. And the problem is that i just can't tell them about my phobia because i'm just to scared to tell them.
"The only thing we have to fear is fear it'self - nameless, unreasoning, unjustified, terror which paralyzes needed efforts to convert retreat into advance." "One of the things which danger does to you after a time is -, well, to kill emotion. I don't think I shall ever feel anything again except fear.
Psychopaths do not feel Fear, It is normal to feel fear, the thing is to control it and be able to exert your will and keep it under control, easier said that done but if you feel no fear then it is a bad sign, but I do believe that you can't become a Psychopath when you are an Adult, more like a Late Bloomer or rather that you were born with it but keep it under tabs and live with it. as for danger doing that, nah, I have been in many dangerous situations, hell I live in one of the most dangerous countries in the world, and lived in the past in Bogota too so no, what it does is that it keeps you in edge and makes you keep your emotions in check, one of the things that thugs, robbers and other low lives are good at is choosing their prey, and if you are all scared and insecure or aren't aware of your surroundings then you are easy prey, they go less after those who are more secure and seem more aware of their environment, but be aware for Even Hyenas go after the Lions...Given the chance and how desperate they are.

i'm pretty sure i used to have ancraophobia, although i never got officially diagnosed. it all started one evening in 2018 when a tornado tore up my neighborhood. thankfully it didn't hurt anyone i knew but it really impacted me. i remember CONSTANTLY checking the wind speeds on weather websites, and i would panic if the wind speed was even 10 mph. it was always on my mind and my panicking would get sooo much worse when it would storm. i couldn't function properly on a windy day and i would end up sitting on the floor with my head down, crying. i never ended up going to a therapist for it (although when my fear was really bad i desperately wanted a therapist) and it still bugs me sometimes when it storms because of the gusts of wind. i was actually really happy to hear about that phobia because i felt like it was so hard to learn about it when my fear would hit the hardest! ❤
I M I’m sorry, and it’s just common sense to be afraid of tornados and stuff, but just gotta be safe and careful and do your best. And you should do a regression to fix it! Good luck and have a nice safe day!

I dont know if I'm allergic to fruit or scared of fruit..
Huh
The fact that you used the name fructophobia and not fruitophobia makes it look even more real. I’m not saying it’s false but yea. It sounds more scientific
He is scared of fruits? Oh, that's sad :C
tell him that they are very tasty! Maybe then he will like fruits
@@xx_park_chae_young_squad_x108 not everyone finds them nice, and a phobia won't go away just like that I'm afraid :/
Truthfully, nomophobia is not going to be so rare one day..

I think I used to have Decidiophobia when I had severe anxiety when I was 8, but I used to call it “the fear of lying”. It got so bad that every question took minutes to answer and usually ended up in my crying because I didn’t want to lie.

Oh, woah... thats so true!!

A phobia I think they should talk about is Kakorrhaphiophobia, which is the abnormal fear of failure or defeat.
anyone else have this?
I probably do lol, I feel like I’ve failed if I get one problem on my test, and often I think I am a failure- 😅

@@devonrodmell7669 me, I have TOO many phobias and two are rare.
1:10 ooh the music is nice.
i'm pretty sure i used to have ancraophobia, although i never got officially diagnosed. it all started one evening in 2018 when a tornado tore up my neighborhood. thankfully it didn't hurt anyone i knew but it really impacted me. i remember CONSTANTLY checking the wind speeds on weather websites, and i would panic if the wind speed was even 10 mph. it was always on my mind and my panicking would get sooo much worse when it would storm. i couldn't function properly on a windy day and i would end up sitting on the floor with my head down, crying. i never ended up going to a therapist for it (although when my fear was really bad i desperately wanted a therapist) and it still bugs me sometimes when it storms because of the gusts of wind. i was actually really happy to hear about that phobia because i felt like it was so hard to learn about it when my fear would hit the hardest! ❤
Do you live in Virginia?
@@asmrfan3850 i'm a bit confused why you're asking me that? that's an oddly specific question so i'm not going to confirm or deny that lol 💁
I M I’m sorry, and it’s just common sense to be afraid of tornados and stuff, but just gotta be safe and careful and do your best. And you should do a regression to fix it! Good luck and have a nice safe day!
