Love the end of the song even though it reminds me of the death of my own innocence. Bitter sweet since there's an entire world to explore if you go past the fence.
If he only knew almost 20 years later, people would be paying hard earned money to chill with him and his band on a fucking cruiseliner, where they were top bill amongst their peers. What a treasure this guy and the music they create are.
Could you imagine if you were just randomly there at this park like walking your dog, and you see this? I’d be like holy shit that weird kid is god damn genius.
I've had a few beers and this made me feel emotions I was not expecting this evening. Claudio's music has been my best friend for 15 years and will stay with me until the day I die.
I pretty much came here to say this. I saw them play in some hole in the wall right before the second stage hit, and since i've seen them at least 200 times, was lucky enough to play the eastern leg of warped tour one year and got our slot changed so I could watch them play each time. Coheed has quite literally saved me through every major life trial i've had.
@@SkidsGaming I was thinking the same thing today when he did that Paste Studio session with Chondra. Was a cool parallel to see both videos on the same day back to back like that.
It's crazy to hear how his vocal runs and tendencies in Backend of Forever here are very similar to Shabutie. It's weirdly nostalgic to hear. It's also so crazy to hear how little confidence he has here, especially with how influential some of these songs he plays become.
I remember standing in line outside the Metro in Chicago in 2005 waiting for the first "Evening with Coheed and Cambria" (also my first ever concert) and somebody pulled up in their Honda Civic blasting this version of Junesong lol
All still absolute bangers in 2022. Saw them last weekend for the first time in years. Took me right back to 18 years old when he played Everything Evil. The chills yo.
12:49. Even to this day, Claudio still goofs up a little like this, and it's just so refreshing to see. Just went to their show last night in St Paul MN, and for the VIP ticket holders (Prise), we got 1 early accoustic song where they played Guns and Roses Sweet Child O' Mine. Claudio messed up a chord or something but recovered flawlessly. No musician is perfect, and I really value the humility and recovery. Not to mention his sheer artistry with these songs. I couldn't imagine trying to play these complicated songs AND sing. Sheesh.
This is such an adorable video. Eighteen years later he is at the top of his game, and it gorgeous to see where he came from as an awkward teenager. Such a talent, such a great guitarist, such a babe.
absolutely zero ego and confidence when he's not playing, you can still this is him now but he's come a long way with being comfortable in front of people
holy, he's really a genius at that age.... be able to create a song that is so melodic and technical at the same time with Impressive story telling lyrics, it just wow. And here we are now 20 years after and his creativity is still overflowing.
I wonder if anyone attending this show at this point in time knew just how big he'd blow up and the major success Coheed would gain in years to come.. 👏🏻
Every song is basically a deep cut at this point especially backend of forever so awesome seeing them acoustic. This whole performance was unreal we need a Claudio solo tour!
I'm here in 24 I have only just now discovered the first song he's beasting through, last night while browsing through my recommendations. Favorite song and performance I've heard in a long time and now my new obsession.
An ex introduced me to them right about this time. I remember hearing this on a cd she had burned. Nice to know this is where those tracks came from. 🍻
I think this will forever be my favorite live coheed video Especially when he says he forgot how to play his own songs, or when he forgets the lyrics to time consumer. Authentic. I'm sure many musicians can relate. 😅
"And she screamed Claudio.".... People were like huh? Conceited much? People today don't even know about the amory comics. So I bet nobody knew or understood it back then. Everyone probably thought he was nuts..I frickin love this band.
It's good to know that even the pros can't keep more than a dozen songs or so in the cranium at once! Coheed is one of my favorites, I only wish I had known about them back then! Also gotta love the ATDI sticker on the guitar!
Consistently some of my favorite pieces of music are raw early takes on legendary songs. Things like this and Black Dahlia Murder's first demo. I would love to see this get released as an EP one day. It deserves it.
This footage is absolutely incredible. The video tech then wasn’t great nor was the sound. This is steady/clear and sounds AMAZING! Claudio is like Maria, a fucking shining star!
I was trying to find another video from this SAME show shot from a different perspective of just Junesong Provision, but apparently it was taken down. You have no idea how happy it made me to find this. Thank you so much for uploading it
I feel really honored to have followed Claud and the guys since I was like 10. Not to mention the amazing friends I've made in the community. This is so good.
This guy should start a band.
Yeah and those songs sound like he could make I dunno something like a comic book series out of them
Im fucking dying
@@thedongmaster8067 or vice versa like his songs could reference different chapters in his comic book series
😂😂
I heard he did. It's called Titles and Words with some good songs like "The Cawing of Raven Moon XVI: The Ever Beginder"
Claudios ability to sing clearly whilst playing the fidliest of riffs is mindblowing man
Dude thats what im always saying! I feel like not enough people really appreciate his ability to play/sing.
@@restricttheopennotes the fact he plays the no world for tomorrow riff and sings is mind blowing
yeap! its feels like he's using polymeter
I’m always wondering how people do this.
riffs really aren't that hard.. at all
Claudio might be the most underrated musician of the 21st century
Born in the 70,s
You mean Joey eppard
@@ejRecording he’s also talented
He’s EXTREMELY underrated.
To this day, seeing Claudio sing and play Everything Evil is still fucking insane
Fucking gnarly
Dude... Everything Evil always gives me chills and this version of it... oh my god.
Love the end of the song even though it reminds me of the death of my own innocence. Bitter sweet since there's an entire world to explore if you go past the fence.
Just stumbling upon this video. Claudio casually playing the everything evil riff while still nailing the vocals blows my mind
If he only knew almost 20 years later, people would be paying hard earned money to chill with him and his band on a fucking cruiseliner, where they were top bill amongst their peers. What a treasure this guy and the music they create are.
amazing to think about. IMO its also how you know hes been doing it all along for the music and art, never the profit. Love you Claud, thank you
I'd pay large amounts of united states dollars from my wallet to see this exact set played acoustically again in 2022
Could you imagine if you were just randomly there at this park like walking your dog, and you see this? I’d be like holy shit that weird kid is god damn genius.

This is what really strikes into me constantly with him, there's so much talent in this one person, it's just incredible to see.
He is very talented but he is also very driven and motivated
demo backend of forever is a SERIOUS trip. It's really raw.
The music has kept me alive more times than i care to think about.
This is the holy grail of acoustic Claud
A beautiful man with a beautiful voice and a beautiful heart, a beautiful mind, and even more beautiful hair.

Look at his tiny mane. Teenage Simba before becoming the King of Pride Rock lol 🤘👑🎸
Big ups for making two Lion King-related comments on these early Coheed vids lol.
Yo seriously. I was just watching the live here to mars they did for NASA and it looks like he killed a lion and wore it

Boo this man!!!! that disliked this magical acoustic performance! Obviously he has no taste in beautiful music And melody! Coheed for life
