Pat Morita and Ralph will always be in our hearts. Both are gems

@@AlanTClarkmore agree than disagree.. you can be the Minority
@@user-yn5bs4oq5eright especially if you were a kid when these movies first came out …..I thought they were a great pair!
This man is a vampire. Got to be. That is not what a 60 year old man looked like when I was a kid.
Yep, he is aging extremely well.
He must have the portrait of Dorian Gray hanging on his wall.
Because nowadays, most people look great in their 50s and 60s I’ll be 60 this year. my brother looks very young and he’s close to 70 good genetics and taking care of yourself. It’s much different now than it was back in the day.
@@nancychakmian6416 You can definitely tell what a difference it makes if you take care of your body nowadays. The proof is in the pudding. Fewer people smoking, more people understanding what eating well and exercise can do, more people protecting their skin from the damaging UV of the sun versus the previous generation that thought constantly tanning was a good thing...etc.
He’s bald and color his hair but shhh
Can you imagine that he’s 61 years old? He’s almost exactly the same as he was in his Karate Kid movies from the 80’s.
True ive been thinking the same, he looks like he is almost 40 or something 🤔
that's stretching it, he looks like late 40's though, but come one, he was 25-27 in those films :))
61?!! Clooney is also 61 and he looks so much worse 😂
Crazy isn't it?
Genetic Jackpot !
His admiration as fondness of Pat is genuine. Loved him in the Outsiders.
Oh my God bro he was so cool in that movie
Johnny is 100% my favorite, he was perfect in that role
Ralph macchio and pat Morita were magic in the karate kid trilogy from 1 to 3
Almost 61 years old, but still looking youthful 👏👏👏👏👏 Can't wait to read Ralph's book
Ralph Maccio's the real Benjamin Button. To think that he looks 20 years younger than his actual age.
Ever seen the Three Wishes of Billy Grier? It was a TV Movie that portrays Ralph growling old faster than anyone.
@@luispiros never heard of it. EDIT: To think, that the opposite is happening in real life. lol
doesnt mean anything
Right? Not only looks younger but acts younger, too (and not in an obnoxious immature way, he just moves and acts more like a 40 year old if you know what I mean). What an inspiration!
@@adolescentwombat is this comment for @bravo outpost? If so, I agree 💯%!
Love his admiration, respect, and fondness of his mentor Pat.
Everytime I think Cobra Kai is gonna start to go on too long, it sucks me back in. Season 5 might be my favorite yet. I love the focus on the adult characters and their adult conflicts. It was so cool to see them develop besides just the kids.
Lies again? Greatest Of Them Is Real Spanish Italian
I loved it, too! I thought Macchio did a great job portraying a man who still struggles with his past trauma and PTSD from his time with Silver when he was young. You can really see the vulnerability in his eyes when he confronts Silver at Sting Rays apartment. Of course, William Zabka was amazing and hilarious as always. Johnny is still my favorite character in the series but I thought Macchio really stepped it up this season, too.
@@bean9619 You know what my favorite part of season 5 is? Daniel and Johnny seem finally to be over their past. Combine that with Johnny becoming more of a responsible adult and Daniel doing a better job of deciding what things need fixing and what should be left alone, is great character growth.
Yea, 5 was the best.
The kids petty love drama was getting old. After all, CK was pitched as a Johnny centric show.
Just finished binge watching all 5 seasons. What a ride. Fantastic show.
He’s so handsome! And I love his character!! When cobra Kai came out it honestly looked like a joke to me lmao I didn’t think I would like it at all even though I was a fan of the movies. I’m glad I gave the show a try because I love it ! Been in a really bad depression and the show kept my anxiety at bay at night lol . If you haven’t gave cobra Kai a try ID say watch it ! It’s cheesy but good !
Cheesy at times but with real heart.
Stay positive girl. Reach out to family and friends. I deal with it too.
Cool that the show helped you out. Hope you'll always be able to find something like that.
Same, same, same to everything you said.
I had the same mindset as well, and oddly enough it also helps my anxiety?? Haha, I think there’s just something comforting about it for some reason.
Wow, never realized Mr. Miyagi was on Happy Days... now it is ringing a bell!
Yes he was Arnold from happy days the chef cook on first few seasons of happy days before he got replaced by Alf the giant guy
He looks amazing he’s 61 wow 🤩
Absolute legend! Genuine and lovable personality!
Cobra Kia is THE SHOW that perfectly brings the action and lingo of my childhood and introduced it to my kids' generation. It's the greatest throwback series of all time. Cobra Kia, please, pretty, please never die! 🙏🏽
Exactly. I don't approve of ANY other reboot. I don't watch any of them. One exception....Cobra Kai
Just wait until "The Next Cobra Kai" 🤣
Pat Morita MADE "The Karate Kid". Only reason why we're talking about it still today. Well he and the awesome filmmakers who made it 👍
I just love this reboot! As a teenage in the 80s I am loving all the people coming back from the original movies! It absolutely makes the show. And I am so happy for Ralph and Billy that they get to have this together after all these years and the magic and chemistry is still there.
Awesome interview with Ralph Macchio. I’ve always had a crush on him.
Loved him as a kid in the 80s, still love him. He looks AMAZING!! X
Ralph got a good deal. A role that's beloved 40 years later but didn't bring him so much attention it messed up his life. And then he has other great roles like in The Outsiders and My Cousin Vinny.
Omg!! Even in his age his still cute!!!! And attractive!!!
Luv ralph. I keep watching karate kid and cobra kai over and over again. Just ordered ralphs book. Luv you ralph xxx
It’s literally 5 in the morning. I soon as I saw Ralph, I clicked! 💛
He's still the best around!!!!😊😍
He's an 80s Icon
Love The Karate kid movies and Ralph and Pat are such National Treasures..can’t imagine anyone else in either role!
one of the nicest guys you can ever meet!
I love Ralph and love his show. I hope it goes on forever.
Crazy that he’s older than the actor who plays Silver
What’s really funny is Ralph is older than Thomas Ian Griffith 😂
pat would've been so awesome in this show had he been alive.
I miss Pat dearly. i was just getting to know him a few months before he passed away. He was a real down to earth guy with some hidden depression.
People who got to meet him r so lucky, he is such a kind gentleman, ik that if he were still alive on show then the writers would have Mr. Miyagi help everyone with their troubles❤
@@RayRay-zt7bj He died of his alcoholism, right? It's so sad. I had a very good friend who died of liver failure from alcoholism as well. He also used alcohol to self medicate from depression. It's so hard to process.
@@bean9619 Yeah, it is very sad. I didn't realize it got that bad with him. I knew he was divorced or separated but even though he came into the bar/restaurant I worked in and drank a little wine and played poker machines, I didn't realize his condition was that serious. In one of his very last nights in there, after having a couple of drinks and putting on a little side show with the Irish band on stage, he had had me worried as he asked me to walk him down the steps of the bar as he was leaving to walk to his hotel room. I was willing to escort him all the way to his room or have security take him there, but he said he was fine on his own. he put on a great little free skit on stage that night for the patrons in the Pub.
@@RayRay-zt7bj Glad you were such a gentleman to him that night. Wish he were still with us.
Rip pat he was a national treasure
He is my idol! Him and Mr Miyagi and karate kid will always hold a special place in my heart! It brings back memories of my early teens, back home in the Philippines, when my life was still so simple and uncomplicated!❤️💖🌸
Oh my😳. Haven't seen Ralph since the Carate Kid. The worst of seeing him as an adult, is the thought of how old I myself have become 😂.I still feel very young, inside anyway, eventhoug my body tells me something else. So goo to see him again. Have to google him and learn a bit more about him . Thanks Jimmy🤗🥰
Ralph you have always been a very good looking person, shoulders and all. I have been a fan since the movie came out. Love you still. You are an awesome actor.
This college kid is going places! 👍
I wish I was 21 again like this dude
Sorry Charlie!!
He is an great actor ... Was and Is...
Crazy that Ralph and Thomas Ian Griffith were the same age in Karate Kid 3 and Terry Silver was supposed to be war buddies with Kreese. Kove was 15 years older. I know it acting but Ralph has found the fountain of youth.
It’s so emotional and may our Mr. Miyagi rest in peace and Ralph is 61 which is crazy
Ralph Macchio'z a Super Nice Guy. I Met Him and William Zebka at Comic-Con 2014 In Sacramento California.
If only Mr. Miyagi was here. 😢
Just the thought hes 60,is crazy.
Best show on netflix. Very good.
Ok its official Ralph doesn't age he looks fabulous
Love you guys, thank you
❤gosh i had such a huge crush on him when i saw him in the Karate kid and still don😊he looks in his 30s, truly unbelievable
I can’t believe I can use the word CUTE on a 60 year old man 😍
Jordan Schlansky favorite childhood actor 😂
Much love!! ❤️❤️
He looks better than every 61 year old I've ever seen
Cool to see him back
I love him smmm
Does this guy ever get old?
His voice is still very similar to what it was in the Karate Kid movies. Lovely.
And to think Chozen was also the Howard Cosell guy in Better off Dead. 🤣
Happy 61st Ralph
I remember Pat as Ah Choo on Sanford and Son. That's the first time I saw him was on that show. I can believe that he did stand up because he was pretty funny on Sanford and Son.
Still love the episode " Sanford and Rising Son "
Legend
a man in age 62 ??!! damn he's so hot !!! and my childhood full of Karate Kid movie time 😂😂😂😂😂 thank you, Ralph you made my childhood amazing..❤🎉🎉🎉🎉
Love to Ralph and Pat(RIP) as they showed the Japanese culture including Karate. The Japanese people are like no other and have a deep love of their culture and history.
Sheesh i have to watch the interview for this one.
Good thing Machio chose 1st part of quote for title of his book
Ralph workin that red jacket...go'n ahead Grasshoppa!!
Biily Zabka should be on these shows sometime. he's brilliant in Cobra Kai.
Two cool movies with Ralph that were complete opposites ..The Outsiders and The Karate Kid..Thanks Jimmy for the flashback...maybe a week next time?
my cousin vinny
i ahve heard mention of the Outsiders but have never seen it. I ought to check it out. I do know that Pat Morita and Joe Pesci really brought out Ralph's character in his movies.
@@RayRay-zt7bj The Outsiders is sad so beware
@@RayRay-zt7bj BUT BUT BUT it’s so worth the watch AND the read
@@straight2thepoint that was good as well...but in the 90s...I stuck to the 80s in keeping with Jimmy's flashback ..of the 80s...
I just pre ordered the book. 😁😁
I remember him in the iconic role of Chooch Bombalazzi in Up the Academy with Ron Leibman!
Oh he's so different from karate kid. Love the song and the movie.
Comedians are often great dramatic actors. Just a few examples: Ed Wynn in Requiem For a Heavyweight, Jackie Gleason in The Hustler, Art Carney in Harry and Tonto, and Mary Tyler Moore in Ordinary People.
I love cobra Kai and I can’t to meet Ralph in person
Love love love Cobra 🐍
Well done 👍🏼
I had the biggest crush on “Daniel Son”❤
He needs to write another book on the making of Crossroads ...
Please renew Cobra Kai for more seasons I don’t want to end!
One more season at least that show has, nothing else to do unless they do college years with the kids, I just don't see it having more seasons
This karate kid still looks like a kid.
We like pat morita, he will forever be an epic actor for his role in Mr. Miyagi.
Cobra Kai season 5 was epic
I think it’s a perfect setup for a new season. A full season of tournament training and tournament would be insane
I LOVE IT ! THE KARATE KID RALPH !😘😘
I love him 😍 Cobra Kai is perfection!
To the person reading this, even though I don't know you. I wish you the best of what life has to offer 🙏 😊❤️
We get it. Stranger
👎
Thank you
Thanks and you too
Awe thank you so nice and sweet to see people put messages to lift people up specially in these days much love to all ❤
People in Ralph’s life that passed: Patrick Swayze and Pat Morita.
He has no wrinkles!!! He looks fantastic. He looks like he's in his mid thirties and early forties.
Dude looks like the age he actually was when he played a teenager!!
Ralph is 9 years older than Pat Morita was when the first KK came out
Cobrar Kai 6 yes 👍🏻 please
I admire the way Cobra Kai has honored Pat Moreno. The Karate Kid movies were my top favorite movies of the 1980's. ❤
you just made him latino wtf😂
Morita not Moreno lol
🌿💖🌿💖 Miyagi Doo 🕯🤍 long live his legacy and spirit much love ❤
loved his impersonation of jerry lol
He's aged well.
Best show on tv
Nori was the only one that could've ever played
Mr. Miyagi! 🤙
I just re watched the karate kid😻
Missing Pat morita
How is he 10 years older than me and looks like he's in his 30s and I look like Father Time?
Looks has changed, voice has changed, his heart is the same
EYE always look EYE!
Jimmy Fallon should go Gantsa goatee!
Good stuff!
Best from the Up Late with Johnny Potenza show
Where is this dude's fountain of youth?
If only I could learn authentic karate from him.
