Pat Morita really got me. I was having lunch while listening to this great story about his friendship with Red Foxx, and I was not expecting the last bit of it. Now I got a lump in my throat. Wonderful story. Good things happen to good people.

Had the pleasure to meet Pat at Hawaii's first Int'l jazz fest, he was MC, hilarious and witty, RIP. Redd wanted to marry my Japanese singer girlfriend but she came to Japan with me instead, sorry Redd. I loved Redd's humor.
