another amazing vid man!!! I wish I had some money to make my board better like that!!! If I had the money I would make a very simular board with pedals you've recomended in your vids. you really have helped me man a lot though life! you may have not know but thank you man!!! I've struggled a lot in life with Guitar and just in life General. I almost gave up on guitar Cause I don't have good gear to use and I kept feeling pulled back from good potential but cause of u I keep going!! and trying you've really inspired me!! My friend has been Kind enough to let me use his board a lot and I've been so thankful!! I hope and wish one day I could make a Good board and have my own with I think probaly these pedals (below) .......cause I struggle every time to make good tone for church but I know God Loves when I play for him!
I've been playing lead sometimes in church with my friends board and I have had so much fun in doing so and I Know God has a plan for me with music, I just gotta keep going even when the going gets tough!! I'm not the best but I have fun in doing so
pedals ( let me know what you think) if ya can @HeyWorshipLeader
HX Stomp Xl (for effects) or HX stomp Effects for (Effects) or maybe both cause it would be super nice to have
G3 ATOM Switching System (for pedals so I can setup a good loop system) or any switcher
Tonex and Tonex 1 (for amps)
    Strymon BigSky (for Reverb)
    Strymon Timeline (for Delay)
    Strymon Modulation (For Modulation effects)
Mission Exspress Exspression and Volume Pedal (maybe) prob a smaller one instead like a dunlope
Empress Buffer+ with Boost (for well you know)
    Kernom ridge overdrive (for Drive)
Strymon Riverside Multistage Drive Pedal for (drive)
JHS Pedals Morning Glory V4 Overdrive Guitar Effects Pedal, or Jackson audio Broken Arrow V2 Comprehensive Overdrive Guitar Effects Pedal (for Dive)
Jackson audio Golden Boy Transparent Overdrive or Jet Lamb Overdrive ( also for Drive) maybe both I love the sound of a drive lol
    micro pog pedal by Electro-harmonix
Vertex Effects Boost (For Boost) or really any boost (might not need though)
Jackson Audio Bloom V2 Dynamic Engine Guitar Effects Pedal or Eq-200 pedal by Boss (for EQ) not sure yet
Jackson Audio Hourglass Analog Dual Compressor Pedal (for compresser)
MOOER Looper X2 Stereo or Boss looper (for looper)
    Three2One gigrig pedal
a Wireless System as well any suggestions ?? I was thinking a line 6 or a shore or sennhizzar
and of course a power supply I was thinking Gigrig and strymon what do you think ???
and maybe mods for the outputs and inputs loops and things
and Yea...... Any thoughts???? maybe on which would be best?? or any changes I should do ???
I know the HX stomp Xl and HX effects would totally be enough to have it would be such a blessing if I did just had those 2! Maybe someday God will Provide me with them, I would be so thankful it would change my life for sure in guitar world!!
its cause I play both acoustic and electric in my band and at church so it would be nice to have some effects for acoustic as well and make this board like both a electric and acoustic board somehow I'm thinking I would use a loop system so I could turn off some and leave some on for it Like turn off all but HX stompXl and EQ pedal for acoustic but that'll be a future thing I'll figure out I got a Idea
this would kinda be my dream board maybe there might be one or 2 pedals I would add that are small but yea this is kinda what I want to build towards
so sorry for the long comment hope you read it though and could get back to me

Dude I’ve been watching your videos for long enough. I’m a fan and not a hater, so here’s my opinion:
    1. This is a studio board, YOU CAN NOT PLAY with this in a live situation it’s to messy.
    2. So many drive options. Never end well.
    3. You’re trying to accomplish some sounds that you don’t need.
    4. Midi is a mess.
    5. We can hear some phase problems happening.
    Now let’s fix this:
    1. I’m pretty sure that if you reduce this to just boost and 2 drive stages max your sound will be massive.
    2. You can reduce this board to just 6 pedals and the TXOnes.
    3. HX STOMP just for a slap??? Seriously?
    4. Figure 2 options for reverb and 2 delay options max. You’ll sound great.
    5. You are doing EQ in so many pedals that you end up with a no body tone.
    6. We all agree that this is almost an unusable board for live applications, Aspen sounds awful, and the Unity it’s complete unnecessarily.
    Final point my man.
At this stage of the year and your career, you should have your own tone defined, and some guitar playing style defined. And I really think that you don’t have a clear path to follow.
After all we all want to see you conquer all your dreams and go BIG! 💪🏼 I hope you can make some changes in this and really try to accomplish that 8+ pedal board that we all love. Cheers my friend.

I'll be making a follow up video but here are my quick thoughts in response:
      1. I haven't played with it live yet....we'll see how it goes and make changes accordingly
      2. I love the drive options
      3. Which sounds do I not need and how would you know that?
      4. Midi works but I will still be streamlining it the more I use it. Still a new board and new midi controller. Still having fun tho
      5. I think you're right...I didn't catch it while recording because I was playing through my studio monitors, and wasn't directly in front of them. Then in editing I thought maybe one amp was louder. then went out of town and haven't had a chance to dig deeper yet...but stay tuned.
      1. I have several other "minimal" pedalboards. I've always had small boards and great tone out of them. Lately I've been building boards for other people and wanted to take some of the pedals I love and have lying around to build my own. This doesn't mean I don't know how to get great tone from a minimal small rig. Just watch more videos on the channel and you'll see.
      2. I could do that. But not my goal
      3. HX stomp is using all 8 effects blocks if you watch the video. EQ > Delays > Reverbs > Modulation. What are you even talking about??
      4. See above.
      5. My EQ options allow me to shape tone depending on the sound I want or if I pick up different guitars. It's a great way to have different settings for those options. Not using them all the time or even all at the same time.
      6. As said above, We'll see how live works out, but I don't see the problem here. And your comment about the UNITY6 is wrong and why it won't be a problem. The unity feeds everything. I can scroll snapshots > tune > Boost > send messages to all my other "hard to reach" pedals...the UNITY is great just like any other midi pedal would be. If you don't like midi that's find. I'll be refining how I use it in the coming months...but still a great way to control everything. As far as the ASPEN, that's a great pedal. I've had it for a few weeks and can't wait to dial it in for live sounds. This video was just a first look at what this board can do and sounds like. I'll need more time for sure.
About your main point: I don't even know where that is coming from. I have my own tone and there are hundreds of videos on this channel to prove it. Is it a good tone? many people think so, but that's not even the point. Who says I have to have my tone defined? I'm always learning and getting inspiration from new sounds and other artists. It's a journey and I'm loving every minute of it. As I've said in MANY other videos, I've never claimed to be a good guitar player. Not once :) Here's a video from a year ago to prove my point (ruclips.net/video/SoGaL0oe6AA/видео.html)
At the end of the day...I make content and put it on the internet so I'm not surprised when people have opinions...but it just seems a lot of what you have said is out of the blue and not grounded in anything. If you don't like my playing or tone or face or whatever...that's fine. I'm not trying to impress everyone. I just love helping others and posting my journey with stuff and I don't have to be on someone else's time line and live up to someone else's expectations to do that.
      Thanks for watching :)

can you set up your pedals, so that by hitting a footswitch on your hx stomp, you not only activate stomp effects, but you also turn on one of the actual pedals on your board?
i would think that to save dsp, i should buy a normal overdrive/rhythm tone pedal, but i can’t think of a way to turn the overdrive at the same time as my hx effects.

@@jacksonokun4697 still a way too crowded. He's got multiple pedals that do the same thing on the same board. Smh. But then again I'm coming from the metal world. You know where your head banging and there's smoke and lights going on while you're playing live. I'm sure that's a world apart from sitting on a chair in a church playing at 90 bpms.
My board is strictly for utility there's nothing on there that's doubled up there's plenty of room to step on stuff.
To be honest I think it's more vanity with this guy and his pedal boards than anything. He says he's a worship leader but never have I ever heard him once say anything about God or Jesus or the church that he's working with.

@maxammo6282 and @jacksonokun4697 so much to unpack from these comments. I'll be doing a follow up video but to hit the highlights:
      1. You might be right about the spacing...haven't used it live yet...but that's the fun part about this hobby...we're never really done. We'll see how it goes and I'm sire the journey will be on the channel.
      2. But this quote, "To be honest I think it's more vanity with this guy and his pedal boards than anything. He says he's a worship leader but never have I ever heard him once say anything about God or Jesus or the church that he's working with." How many videos have you watched? This is the most incorrect comment I've ever received. Check out the rest of the channel. None of this is for vanity. People send me pedals, I review them, give them away, make pedalboards...all the stuff that most people in this space love watching. I know I do.
the main thing I've said so many times on this channel is that it's not about the gear at the end of the day. Pedals aren't even my passion. Just a fun little hobby. My passion is helping equip people to serve the local church. I train worship leaders how to lead their people through music and singing. On this channel specifically, the things that get searched the most are these pedalboard videos. So I like giving my subs what they want the most of. But check out some of the other videos. it won't take long to see my heart.

      @@HeyWorshipLeader yeah I get what you're saying.
But here's the thing maybe you should watch some more of your videos. And see it from our point of view.
Cuz from my point of view you're using the worship thing as a crutch for your channel.
I know a lot of people send you stuff I know you like to give away a lot of stuff. But your channel has nothing to do with worshiping it's all about pedals. So why not just make your channel about pedals.
Watch some more of your videos and you'll see what I mean. God's not down the street at the corner Church begging you for money. God is in your heart. So in reality all these giant big church productions that are in most churches, are blasphemous. 👀💯.
What does it say in the Bible about the temple? where is it? And who resides in it? And I'm pretty sure that your channel is monetized. And if you know anything about the Bible you know how Jesus feels about stuff like that. I'm not judging you I'm just pointing out what I am observing.
I appreciate your open dialogue on the subject and I don't mean any disrespect. 🇺🇸☝️✌️
