@@havok6280 I was mostly joking but I believe Johnny said condoms alone weren't enough for him a couple episodes ago. I think people joking about him not knowing about condoms either missed that or just wanted to make light of it because as the strongest pair, their "drama" was such a non-issue compared to the genuine struggle of the other couples on the show. It felt like the producers were grasping for something to bring conflict in but they just seem to be a natural pairing that worked through things responsibly.
As far as sex ed, just because the internet has lots of info doesn't mean everyone's going to be fully aware of everything that might be relevant to their sex lives. I mean in general it's probably not great to hope that porn will be enough to educate people; there's still plenty of conversations about anatomy, safety, communication, gender, etc to be had.
This is just a hunch but based on how he looks and his interest in snowboarding, I also think Johnny could be from Appalachia, where I actually just went skiing the other weekend. If so, it wouldn't necessarily be surprising for a place with generally underfunded schools and heavy religious influence to fail to educate a white man about the crucial details of female birth control (I think the influence of religion on North Carolinians in their romantic lives was demonstrated pretty thoroughly this season lol). He's even mentioned his partners were always on it so he "never had to think about it much" until now, which would also not be surprising for a world that caters mostly to men. But they seem to have figured it out, and he's caught up so that's good.

I don't think they spoke with Kenneth and Brittany enough.
None of the former couples were asked directly if they were currently in relationships to keep the "maybe they'll figure things out" narrative, this finale thrived on speculation and keeping certain money making narratives alive.
I read on another video that people are thinking it was deliberate in order to make sure people tune in to find out on the After the Altar episodes later on.
@@sneakykamon it feels like a lot of things were deliberate and very "social media pick a narrative driven" to create a lot of buzz after the season. A lot of create a villian, create an underdog, we should like him but hate her vibes...

AD didn’t say Chelsea got a bad edit. She basically said that’s not who she knew her to be in their friendship so it was hard to see her like that in her relationship with Jimmie.
Thank you both, it was so fun seeing you break down and joke about this season! I’m a huge fan of The Traitors and would highly recommend it to discuss in a format like this. I would looooove to see Jessica or some other LIB alumni go on The Traitors to get involved in the scheming and deception

Kenneth probably worked at a small, religious school. Small, private schools often have fewer administrative layers than other schools. Latching onto a young, dedicated teacher for leadership is not unusual in a small, religious school.
It's a charter school.
Charter schools might be more open to a nontraditional principal so that also makes sense.

Gurl took me out! lol (Also, is it me, or did Micah have a serious glow up? I mean she was always pretty but like, dang, lol)
It’s Wednesday and the replays are STILL as fun and funny as the first 10 times I’ve watched them!! Such a great duo, hilarious content but also a lot of really interesting insight into human behavior in the weirdest situations. The details that Mina and David pick up on, are epic! Producer Charlie Kravitz and his graphics and meme type images on the screen throughout, make me laugh every single time!!
Can you guys please do this for other shows! Please! You two have the best chemistry and are absolutely hilarious.

Y'all should check out Love is Blind Sweden! Netflix recently dubbed it in English so it's an easy watch. The drama is next level and it's interesting seeing the differences between the American version.

LIB Brazil is actually my fav version. The voiceovers are better second season.
My guess with Kevin is two things: first, there's a principal shortage (educators in general) and experienced teachers usually become principals so that's why they are older. But older teachers do not want that job. and second, he works for a charter school which might be more open to having a nontraditional principal.
loved finding your channel, would never have watched yours if it weren't for the LIB content (not a sports fan really). you should def watch Perfect Match next! And bring David back! and I support Clay at #4 he grew a lot 😊

The moment where Jessica was giving Trevor the business saying "Chelsea has been raked through the coals" , I think she meant that people were p*ssed when Chelsea rejected Trevor originally, when we all thought he was genuine. I think Jessica was saying, you could have come forward and kinda saved her some ridicule.
Laura consistently treated Jeremaey like a poorly performing employee. The reunion was no different.
If he woulda just called it off and went and did him after he would get no heat for it because she was seen as the annoying one before he spent time with Sarah while they was still engaged.
Did u catch at the end when they asked what was the best part of Love is blind was or something to that effect and Izzie yells "the food!" Then they pan out to the spread they layed out! I laughed out loud cause you know they made him say that 🤣🤣🤣 they were leaning hard on that food because of the criticisms they recieved on the previous seasons 😂

The answer to the mystery of Kenneth is **charter school**-a lot looser regulations there. In most states, administrators have to have quite a few years of teaching under their belt, and then obtain a master’s in administration- not the case for a charter or private school.

I thought Laura wasn’t that bad in the reunion but she was mean to Jeramey in the show. I thought that’s who David was talking about ranking higher.

The cups are to hide continuity. They want to chop conversations up and if the audience can see an empty glass in one part then the glass is full, we would see that whatever hear is chopped up and manufactured

It would be so fun to watch your reaction to the international seasons of LIB. Brazil actually played around with what if not everyone was conventionally attractive with interesting results, and the hosts are the best!

I enjoyed all the banter and takes you guys had on the season. It was really fun to watch. Temptation Island and Love Island USA could be potential options for other shows to review. A lot of drama.
Laura got what she deserved. I don't even like Jeramy either but she was rude and mean to him a lot of the time.

Laura being a jerk doesn't absolve Jeramey or Sarah Ann. All behaved poorly and I would've want to hang out with anyone on this cast except for Amy and Johnny.
I won't say deserved. But Laura was definitely not into Jeramy. But him and Sarah Ann gave her the perfect escape plan and torture them in the process.

You guys need to watch post interviews with the cast. AD has said definitively that she will not date Clay again. Chelsea did an interview that gave a lot more context into her relationship with Jimmy - apparently he was facetiming his female friends often venting about Chelsea and was going out all the time and wasn't reaffirming her unless it was on camera. I def think that's why she "got off easy" at the reunion. Netflix knew they did her dirty with the edit.

One question I was hoping someone would ask Clay and I was disappointed no one did, is what did he mean when he brought up AD’s finances after he decided not to marry her. Because that came wayyyy out of left field lol

It felt like the way everyone was against Cole during that reunion.
I'ma keep it a buck, everyone keeps defending Laura, and there's a specific moment that happened during the living together phase that people forgot about but when it happened, I remember thinking, "I hope Jeramy leaves this chick;" and that's when he met her parents. IIRC Laura was telling her parents all the things she hated about Jeramy *while he was standing right next to her* and all I kept thinking was, "this is not giving a good first impression about your fiancé." Granted, chronologically, this happened well after Sarah Ann sent her dm but for me, it would've been enough to start reconsidering things. And yeah, perhaps I'm being petty but it certainly wasn't painting him in a good light to begin with.
Edit: I copied and pasted my comment from another video just before David brought up Laura treating Jeramy like crap but I fully agree with the take, obviously lol.
Friends backed up friends and selectively chose what actions were wrong based on who's side they were on. The hosts choosing a side and having a part in the Perfect Match promo was slick but wrong. JESS is the moneymaker they are riding.
Jess is also there to promote Perfect Match, from Kinetic Content.
Someone should have told AD "say it with yo chest" when asked about dating Clay again.

I work in education in CA. I'm not sure how it works in NC but my thoughts are that while he was teaching for 2 years he got his administrative credential and he applied and got it either bc they liked him and thought he was a good fit or because they were desperate. That is my assumption

Love watching you two dissect these episodes. You should watch Love Island UK. There are 10 seasons. I discovered it in season 9. There is also Love Island US but UK is the original. So cheesy and good. Kinda like Perfect Match but better.
I would have liked Clay to explain what he does for work that keeps him out until the next morning. I would also like for him to explain what he meant after leaving the alter about not being sure of AD's finances.
Clay was saying it depends on his location and where his next appointment is that next day. He said this on the show. It depends on travel time.

Reality TV has been around since the 90s. Social media has been a thing for over a decade. Why are you surprised some people on the internet will be mean to you and judge you based on your reality show appearance?

What's crazy is that most comentators (including yourself) highlighted the red flags and hot mess nature of the show and at the same time call Johnny and Amy borning as if its a bad thing😂. Boring, stable, and predictable is what you overall want from a long-term marriage!
