@@Penguinprof same here. Failed 3 years of science class because i stopped studying because it felt undoable. Until I randomly decided to search up chemistry basics and found you. now after about one hour i feel ready for the next year

Insane, I just combined all of this with the things I learned it school and the feeling is just incredible, I feel like i just discovered the universe lol......
i laughed so hard in this video, thanks for making it interesting and fun. Watched your 1st video too. Excellent stuff :) I will never ignore the periodic table again lol Awesome teaching !
This is CRIMINALLY underrated. We just started basic chemistry several months ago and i legit started doubting myself and my love for science because our teacher didnt let us get used to the basic concepts and made us rush through stuff. 30ish of minutes just listening to you(basic chemistry part 1 and 2) and its all coming together. Thank you so much!!!!!
I was born far too early, I wish I had these teaching resources when I was at school. I've learnt more and understand it better in one short lesson here, than in virtually a full term at school. Amazingly clear and concise tutorial ❤❤❤
You are un-Ironically a better teacher through the computer than my chemistry professor in person. So thank you for hopefully helping me pass the class.
You're the best teacher ever. Thank God for being able to speak and understand English, I study in French and my comrades aren't able to take advantage of your amazing videos.
Agree :) that final segment she explained so clearly about how a hydrogen atom has a polarizing affect that can both bond and unzip other anatomical structures such as DNA and RNA transcripts, proteins, etc because of its very weak interaction, makes me instantly think of elemental particle neutrino which also interacts via the weak force (yet, almost massless, with no charge, makes it pass through other matter virtually undetected, unless a tidal disruptive event occurs and high energy neutrinos are created) and if neutrinos could work in a similar bonding and unzipping fashion with electrons and/or gravity or the hypothetical graviton or vice versa as a possible explanation for dark matter? Thanks again for the fun and very well presented, memorable lesson.
This woman is the hero I needed. I'm behind and i understood nothing until i found this. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for putting this in such a memorable way
the best chemistry video ever i love how you use memes to distract the constant concentration and relax our consciousness to understand the topics.Who ever gets a faculty like this is blessed . I LOVE CHEMISTRY NOW !!!!!
HOWWW does your video only have 11k likes?! Crash Course wishes it could provide this kind of chemistry content! (no hate crash course, you're wonderful, but this professor has 100% outdone your chem videos). You have an immense teaching talent and I am so thankful for you!! You're giving me hope that I'll be able to survive my biology class with 0 prior chemistry knowledge.
I love these vids. Her voice and personality is soo sweet and the playfulness helps relax my little brain, while I try and wrap my head around what I should've learned at school.
I'm reading an A+P textbook (yes, for fun) and without the benefit of having a teacher I've been having a really hard time understanding the chemistry concepts. Your series is helping immensely. Thank you!
THANK YOU! Its been over 10 years since I've had a chemistry class and watching your AMAZING videos has ped catch me up to speed for a class I'm currently taking! Seriously, thank you!
These videos are the best beginners lessons for chemistry I could find. You introduce the concepts with simplicity and the lesson is not cluttered with unnecessary detail that won't be understood by a beginner. There are other good introductions out there but a lot of them just spit out all these small unnecessary facts that can just overwhelm you.
Wow, I really enjoyed this! Chemistry was my nemesis in school and I actually couldn't go to university because of it and didn't study what I actually wanted. 25 years later and I dare to give it another go because my plan B didn't make me happy. Thanks to your videos I finally believe I'm able to understand it well enough to pass the necessary classes! I can't explain enough how grateful I am for this. And here I was thinking all those years that I was just not intelligent enough...
such an engaging teaching style, love it. A bit of philosophy, mixed with adequate amounts of cheesy humor (in a good way), and a condensed summary of the important points of the basics that leaves people curious and hungry for more. A perfect balance of personality and actual teaching, you could tell there is passion. and I will make sure to get the handcrafted gelato if I ever visit Italy
I’m currently in intro to bio and my prof is sooo monotone and lacks the enthusiasm you have. I can’t thank you enough for your videos, you help make these concepts stick like glue! I am so much more confident now than I was a few weeks ago because of your vids. THANK YOUUUU!!!!
Your the best ever chemistry lecturer I've ever had! I wish the rest of chemistry teachers would model teaching from an inspirational, charismatic and amazing person like you. Thank you so much and keep posting. You videos are so so helpful x
Omg it clicks now!! 😂😂😂 See this is why I love RUclips! I'm a visual person and although the teacher we had was really good at explaining, nothing and I mean nothing compares to good visuals and a soothing voice ❤
Seriously, here in 2022 trying to refresh while taking chem 2 and i just want to thank you for what you do! you make it interactive and entertaining and im somehow finding it interesting so just thank you!
Kindly make more videos on every topic of Chemistry . I usually don’t like subscribing to channels but your beautiful , soothing voice , polite tone and excellent examples to explain made me subscribe.
Can I just say how much I love you. In a couple of days you've helped me get some of my knowledge back from stuff I haven't studied in years. I'm a freshman at TTU in the chemical engineering department and was close to a melt down when I found the videos. You have made me feel much more confident, and I'm finally able to get back to a somewhat basic level of chemistry understanding hahaha so thank you!!!
Thank you, thank you. You have got the knack of making the complex simpler and easier to understand. Besides your melodious voice helps to cement attention. Wishing you All the Very Best for All Time!

Thank you. I'm 30 and don't remember diddly squat about chemistry, but I felt the need to try to understand chemistry for some reason. It's so facinating but also infuriating because I can't wrap my head around how it *actually* work in real life. So I'm on a mission to try to understand, thank you for getting me a step closer with your amazing videos
Love all your youtube lessons, am working through each one because 1. i love learning!! and 2. You make it so simple. Please make more, especially on Chemistry!! and the Human Body!!
Your videos are awesome. When I was a kid I couldn't understand chemistry, my teacher made me feel stupid when I asked questions and I missed out on learning this amazing field of science. You are doing a great thing for the world by explaining things the way you do, and I hope more professors teach like you nowadays.
I'm so happy you find these videos helpful - unfortunately, your story is quite common and it makes me so sad to think of all the brilliant minds that got turned off to science and math because an instructor made them feel inadequate. But congratulations to you on you perseverance and I'm so happy you find my videos helpful! Best of luck to you!

You literally have saved me. I just started A & P for nursing, and don’t understand any of the chemistry. So not only do your videos make sense, but they are visually stimulating, interesting, and hilarious. Please continue to make more videos. You’re amazing 🙌🏼
Very good and educational video! I would just want to add that an atoms desire to give, take or share one or more electrons is determined by their electronegativity. In the video you said "electron affinity" (which is also right) but it's just halv of the "truth". It is easier to understand atoms ability to bond with eachother if you know their electronegativity. Beacuse then you can see what bond the atoms will have between them. Maybe it's over the top but it's important in understanding the bonds between the atoms. Otherwise, excellent video!
Thank you for your clear and precise teaching methodology. Im currently taking my prerequisites for a nursing program, Biology, and I had such difficulties comprehending my professor's lecture, however, u made it clear and simple. Thank you 👍✏📚
