      We actually have a chemistry teacher (His name is irrelevant, as we all call him Mr. White) and bro knows how to keep us listening. Very clear and most of the time leaning in a way to also cover topics we are interested in that correlate with the unit

      Here's an idea to impress your special someone... try making a homemade Valentine card with the structure of dopamine (love and pleasure) or oxytocin (trust, bonding and love). If you've got some cash to spend, check out this shop on Etsy: molecularmuse (Made With Molecules - science jewelry & gifts). Raven does incredible work. I'm just a fan - not sponsored. This helped me so much. I'm only a few weeks into AP Bio and this video helped me understand everything that my teacher left out because I've been struggling with this class. Thanks!

    always thought this was too difficult for me to understand but this video has made it clear that its just putting pieces of a jigsaw puzzle in the right places to make the picture. thanks so much for this!

    OMG YOU EXPLAINED IT SO WELL!! I understood it with the first example you gave! I really thought I was never going to understand it. Thank you for making it so simple! Can you also do a video on how to get from the chemical formula to the drawing (basically the reverse of this video).

    6:34 why do you write it in that order , would it be wrong if i wrote H first or O first , if so ,why ?

      It's convention. Chemists have a lot of rules... but without them, it would be a mess honestly.

    On 5:10 I know you stated the carbon goes on ends and bends but why didn't we put c at the bends where n is? Is it because the nitrogen is already stable?

    • @Penguinprof
      @Penguinprof  9 лет назад

      +canadianhaitian You can't have 2 atoms in the same place at the same time, just like you can't be driving your car while your mom is driving your car at the same time. I hope that helps!

    How do you know what order to write it in when you write it in linear pattern??? Like why is it C9H8O4 or C2H6O ? why not OC2H6 or H8C9O4??

      Carbon is always first, next is hydrogen, after that they are in alphabetic order.
