Wow. No deer is gonna be able to withstand that broadhead. I was especially impressed with the nearly square holes it left in the sheet metal, they should create a lasting wound channel. Thank you for testing new heads.
Well, they’re both 4 blade, but that’s about the only similarity. Different steel, different tip, different blade thickness, different blade retention system.
Nearly a 100% knock off of the Slick Trick Viper Trick. One of my favorite heads before it was discontinued. I still have some and hunt with them but my supply is running low. Looks like I have a potential resupply.
Hmmmm. They’re both 4 blade, but that’s about it. One has a ferrule with a chisel tip and the other is cut on contact. Different materials, different blade thickness too.
Would like to see it against an Elk scapula. Performance was incredible. Might have to try these out someday. Would like to see what it does to a hog or deer.
If it holds up to concrete and steel plate like it did, it will likely fare well on a scapula. The only real challenge would be hitting the thick Part and at an angle.
The 100gr setup performed incredibly. I wish they had a dedicated 125gr head. That weight collar solution adds flat face to the diameter of the arrow and that's a no-go for me. I think that will affect penetration quite adversely. Especially if one hits a rib or shoulder blade. They either need to taper that collar, or to make a 125gr blade set or ferule. You are probably already on this, but I'd be interested in seeing a test of the 125gr setup to compare if you are so inclined.
Thank you for this review, I have shot the same broadheads for years and these guys at the show convinced me and was skeptical about them because they have them on eBay for next to nothing and wasn’t sure if they where the real deal or a Chinese version they bought in baulk and re selling. But thanks for the Video, you put confidence back in my hunt. Blood therapy ocd has been my go too but seems they disappeared???? Please let me know what happened to them.
Lusk, would you ever consider performing a decibel test in the future? In some rudimentary testing of my own, I’ve found some broadheads to be significantly louder than others. Maybe measure decibels shooting with a bare shaft to rule out fletching noise? I love these tests I’ve made some broadhead choices based off your tests and love how you stay very non bias.
Thanks for the comment. I have consider that quite a bit. However, there are a few reasons I did not do it. 1. I cannot figure out a way to provide consistent and comparative data regarding arrow flight noise. I do not have a long enough chamber indoors to do it effectively. The arrow shot noise and the arrow impact noise are much louder than the arrow flight noise. If I do it outside at longer distance, I can record the flight noise without it being over, whelmed by the bow noise, and the impact noise. However, the ambient noise of the environment varies significantly minute to minute and day today. So that really is not a valid comparative Datapoint. 2. Honestly, I do not think Aero flight noise has any impact on the hunting situation. I’ve taken hundreds of animals and never seen it to be an issue. Boain noise is huge because it is static, and an animal can pinpoint its origin. But flight noise is a totally different issue. For all the animal knows it could be a bird or a bug zipping by.

@@FWBNation right, they are all made by the same Chinese broadhead manufacturer. usually they dont have a brand name, just listed as something like "4 blade 100gr broadheads". i believe Sanford sent the design to the chinese manufacturer to make for him years ago, and they just kept producing and selling them.
