    I have found this bow to really shoot well actually. Ive had a hoyt buffalo and gamemaster and this bow shoots just as well. Also my DL is 31" . It really shouldnt work for me at all but it works very well and takes 1st place at most 3d shoots i go to. Stay between 10-12 gpi and put some silencers on it and if you fill the hollow limb pockets with bathtub caulking it will also make it quieter. Bring brace height up to 8" also to quiet it and stop limb vibration

      I figured it may have been better once I fixed it up. However when they’re that cheap some might come out good like the one you got, but I may have just been unlucky and got a more poorly made one.

    • @feelthespiritofthewild
      @feelthespiritofthewild  Год назад +1

      I may at some point reorder one and see if it’s better. I also didn’t enjoy shooting the low poundage which may have affected my opinion since it was the first time shooting a bow under 45#

  • @nixter8739
    @nixter8739 11 месяцев назад +7

    Twist the string and shoot, continue this until your bow is at its most quiet. Measure brace height, that should be the brace height for your bow. Then go from there. String silencers limb liners. Those cheap factory strings may need alot of twists.

    The paint job isn't screwed up. They mark that spot with a marker in the factory to show that it has been inspected for installation of the insert. I work in an injection moulding plant and we do that in the QA (Quality Assurance)department.

    Loved my samik sage when I had it unfortunately last Sunday I made a mistake amd my bow blew up and I had a bad injury that could have been fatal had my samik sage for three years and ill be going with it again when I get the money no injury will ever keep me from doing what I love that's just it

    • @feelthespiritofthewild

      I’m glad to hear you’re okay. When a bow explodes like that it’s super dangerous. I have a Samick Sage and if it wasn’t for the high wrist grip I’d still use it to this day. I can’t shoot the high wrist grip bows as well as flatter low wrist grips, so sadly I don’t shoot it often. Although, it’s got me started and I shot it for 2+ year before I ever got another bow. Good luck to you and hope you heal up quick.

    • @feelthespiritofthewild
      @feelthespiritofthewild  10 месяцев назад

      Oh yeah. I liked the riser, so if I wanted to I could replace the limbs and add a better string. It would probably shoot a lot better after that. However, I don’t know if it was an ILF riser.

    When I got the bow the riser was bend so the limbs could not be aligned. It is a little bit stacky but that is to be expected for such a short bow. Other than that I got what I paid for.

    would it kill a boar/pig with the right arrows?

    • @feelthespiritofthewild
      @feelthespiritofthewild  Год назад +3

      Most definitely! If you get anything from a 40 pound bow up, and set up a good arrow with about a 50 grain insert and 150-200 grain broadhead it’d bring em down easily. You’d have a high FOC and good momentum with the weight of the arrow so you’d get good penetration. Shot placement is key though!
