Good stuff John! I've got white Republics and black & brown Perry Ellis with white soles. I wear sneakers, athletic fit chinos, and a dress or polo shirt for work. The colored sneakers help change my whole work look and I'm liking it.

I like that you mentioned OTHER COLORS. I've seen others proclaim WHITE. And I agree. But not only. I get the FASHION idea versus ATHLETIC. I was just gonna say I have a pair of medium brown leather Vans. And the WHITE idea wasn't giving with me. But your presentation opens up other avenues. Thank you.

Perfect video John. My fave color right now is light grey as it goes with everything. Awesome styling on the triple blacks. I always see them with the cropped black pants and sock less look which is great but not too practical for Mid West winters. FYI New Republic have some neutral suedes that look awesome.

Hi John. I've shied away from white sneakers simply for trying to keep them clean so these colored sneakers are a great alternative . The gray and navy blue ones are probably my favorites of the colors shown. Do they make them in red ? I would like to find a nice pair of red sneakers. Have a great Valentines day. Peace . : )

Great video! Got some fantastic ideas for outfits to wear in the coming months (as it gets colder). Would have loved some ideas with shorts too, as its the height of summer down here in the Southern Hemisphere (New Zealand). For example, i have a pair of Adidas Stan Smith's in Navy, and i struggle to pair them with shorts to the point where i pretty much just don't - only wear them with tan chinos etc. Otherwise, a really informative video.

Thanks for showing!.. I have a little problem with those minimal leather sneakers... i like more chuck's or so. I find them much cooler (for each age). Even in school back 1978 chucks are the coolest, although the quality of most canvas sneakers is a bit poor.... But good inspirations for combining

Browns are the best here tbh. Not a fan of the shoe being the same colour throughout. I like the white base
Oliver Cabell brand is okay. I have bought from chain jewelries and a loafer from them. I would say that their loafers are quite narrow fitted though. This makes it a bit unstable to walk around. As for the workmanship, they are nice. You can tell from their stitches. I am not sure if I would purchase a pair of sneakers. I'm worried about the fitting. Does anyone here know how they would fit in comparison to their loafers?

I'm considering buying the capri sage by koio. I like the color. But I'm unsure if I'm going to go through with it cuz idk what I'm going to style it with. It's a spring/summer color so prolly some type of shorts. But idk about what fabric or color. And also what shirt and belt will look good with it?
This whole thing felt a bit like a commercial and not like actual tips. You spoke about the brand and their quality, where they have been showcased etc.
I didn't hear a single tip.
I saw an example of an outfit using that tip.
From the title of this video I expected blue, red, yellow and bright colors in general.
Something more BOLD.
I understand that this channel is geared towards an older, more conservative audience but I would expect an explanation instead of 10 second shots of the outfits.
This whole video without the showcase of the brand that sent you the free shoes could have been a 30 second, maybe a one minute video with $20 shoes.(But I also believe they are an amazing brand which deserves more recognition from people.)
It's simple and straightforward.
With this logic in mind I stripped down this video to the very basics of style it applies and I wrote down some constructive criticism/tips for you.
Instead of just music you could have spoken over the shots of the outfits saying that you combine brown tones with brown, camel with camel, olive green with olive green and dark blue with dark blue, and the pants to create color blocking and maybe add a few more tips.
Your message is very inspiring.
You show people that it's possible to change your career and your style around the time where a person hits their midlife crisis.
I was disappointed though when the promotion of the brand ended and a few seconds later the video ended.
I have nothing against you or your channel but I think that the ratio of showcasing a product and the actual style tips should have been very different.
I understand that this is a style tips video but the actual tips were just a few seconds of shots in the end of this video.
As a young person working in marketing who also loves style and watches a lot of similar content, this felt more like a showcase of their collection with a few outfits with simple earth tones and not how to combine color.
I would have loved a more detailed approach around the actual tips just because I feel that a more appropriate title for this video the way it is would be the name of the brand or collection of examples of outfits for earth tone leather shoes.(don't use those titles. They won't get clicks I use them to explain my point)
You showed a few outfits consisting of earth tones and maybe color blocking showing three at a time.
Instead I would arrange it differently.
A voiceover explanation or tip while showcasing each outfit separately.
I think you could have said:
1. Combine the color of your shoes with the top layer of your outfit to make the look more rounded and appealing to the eye.
2. You can play around with the combinations of earth tones but the closer they are to each other the easier it is to combine them.
Olive green with olive green, brown with brown and navy blue with navy blue.
But also brown shoes with a belt in slightly different shade of brown with an olive green top etc.
3. You can apply these tips to any color and any type of style like combining the color of your tie with the color of your socks and the color of your shoes with the color of the upper layer of the outfit with a different color for the pants to create color blocking.
These are some of the simplest basics of style in general.
You could have done this whole video 3 minutes longer or 2 minutes longer or 5 minutes longer but with a voice over the outfits saying your 5, 7 or 10 different tips to combine colors properly and adding something more colorful and bold rather than a just earth tones.
Feel free to use these tips and to delete my comment after you read it.

Would definitely buy a pair as they look great! The range of clothing and shoes in the USA is so much better than the UK. Really thinking about starting to buy and get shipped over but worried about the sizing.

I really like your channel and como here from time to time to find useful ideas and tips, but in this video you're really pushing the envelope. It is not until minute 3:06, out of the 4 minutes and 01 second of the total video, that you get to provide the ideas. This video is just advertising and nothing else. Very disappointing.
I actually don't like white sneakers, I prefer blue or cognac and in suede form. I used to own a forest green suede, but l had to give it away when I lost a lot of weight. Who would have thought you go down half a size or even a full size when you lose weight?
