    Just finished watching the final build video. My dad would LOVE what you did. Especially the magazine cover. BTW in the picture with his station wagon leaving the line was a straight 6, 250 truck engine. He used to say anyone can make a V-8 go fast, so that's why I wanted to make the 6 Cylinder go fast. Thank Sir Brent (Arthur)

      Thank you so much. You just made my whole month. I love how he used a straight 6 250. That must have screamed coming off the line. Again, thank you so much for choosing me to do this. It was a true honor.

    • @grandpamarkshobbies
      @grandpamarkshobbies  21 час назад +1

      If you leave it on the sprue you can. What I do is make it where it will hang so it's not flat, but the edge is facing down. (it will drip) Then put a few paper towels under where it's going to hang. Now you have to do this fast. Cover it in a VERY large amount of quick shine. (if you can dunk it do that) then hang it over the paper towels and cover that with a clean box. Leave that sit for a day or two so it will harden up. Then when it's done handle it as little as posable. I use to do this with model airplanes and Future floor wax with some green food coloring in it all the time. Haven't had to do that since I got back into cars.

      It is a LINDBERG 3in1 CUSTOMIZING "T" motorized kit RED DEMON kit#694m:1298
      I have never seen one for sale that has not been opened and started before. They came out in 1964. The one I worked on was gifted to me. I have seen them on Ebay every now and then, but the one's that are all there and not started are always well over 100 dollars US.
      There is also the Lindberg Big Red Rod Ford T Bucket 1/8 Scale Model Kit #73044
      That is more available, but does not have all the choices the Red Demon kit has.
      I hope this helps you find one. It is a very big kit, but if you take your time it is a very fun kit too.
