Great job. Thanks for the sanity check on the fuel lines after gluing them. Realized body parts also didn’t match up. So made it a maintenance off piece for diorama. And also had same problem with rear wing. All good. Thank you beer taste better 😊
Thank you. It sure was a sobriety test. LOL It took me a long time to finally decide on cutting them off. LOL That rear wing sure taxed me big time. LOL Have a good one.
I looked at this box in the store for 15 minutes, thinking about how to wire that Christmas tree lol. Came to the same conclusion that you did. But i think i can be happy painting it up like you did. Great job Mark!
I'm cracking up. I had to talk myself out of doing it three or four times. Then I started thinking of all the other things I could light with all those LEDs. That was the end of that. LOL
When I finally get my 3D printer I'll send you one. Hopefully sometime early next spring. I just picked a huge kit to do for the next group build. I had to add another table to the shop. LOL
Real nice dragster. I have yet to build one. They look nice but those decals .. oof! Looks like this kit presented a number of challenges, but you came out the winner. I like when kits include a figure. Wish they all did. Brings up diorama scene possibilities. I can't count the number of times I wish I had another arm, hand or even finger.
All in all it was a fun kit. So much so that I bought another dragster the other day. LOL Now I can have them at the line. I totally agree about adding the figures. It wouldn't cost them all that much to add, and it would really make the build pop.
Awesome as usual Mark. Beautiful detail. Being that those big slicks are in full motion and you would like to have it with the wheels up a little I was thinking that maybe give the tires that flat look. There I go thinking again. I have to stop doing that. But making them a little flat comin' out of the hole would look cool with the cotton around them. Giving it the feel of motion. Even throw some bits of black in the smoke making it look like the tires are getting traction. What do you think? Both tires have to be melted and pushed down equally. That will be tricky to do, but with your talents it'll come out righteous. Thanks for the great video and montage.
Thank you very much. I just got another rear engine kit that I'm going to put with this one. The tires are split and I'd be afraid that they would not flatten together and leave a gap. But what I am going to do is put a magnet in the front and another magnet on the base and push the front end up. I think that would be so cool. Not attaching the kits to the base, so you can pick them up, but when you put them down the front wheels come up. I'm going to work on that one.
@@grandpamarkshobbies That magnet trick sounds really cool !! I understand about the split tires may be a problem, but you don't know till it's tried. They also sell the "rubber" ones. It would be allowed for a diorama LOL.
Great build Mark! As usual you taught me a thing or three on this one. Is there a chance those side "winglets" are on the wrong sides? Due to the angle/tilt of the wings and the shape of the canards it just looks that way to me. Again, awesome job as usual!
That was fast! Looks awesome! Thanks for sharing all the modeling wisdom. 😀
It sure did fall together. No fit problems except the fuel lines. Even the oil lines fit.
That's awesome looks great!!! Thanks for sharing.😎🏆
Thankyou very much.
Very nice looking build. You always do excellent work. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you very much.

Thanks TJ It was something different for sure.
Love those flames! That came out beautiful! Nice work as always.
Thanks. I'm still not sure about them. LOL

@@grandpamarkshobbies right, that would be a lot of lights! Maybe one with about 6 lights. Once I get cause up with these group builds I'll have time

I'll see how these work out together, but if I don't like it I'll do what you said.
👍🏻😀👍🏻
Thanks.

Thank you very much. I checked those wings against the instructions several times. I thought the same thing too.
@@grandpamarkshobbies no matter, it's looks awesome bud!
LOL. Thanks.
You should get some umbrella holding models to stand near the cars😂
You know what, I never thought of that. I can scratch one of those really easy. Like a dine-n-fly. What a cool idea. Thanks.
