I live on the south coast (FL) and my husband and I walk our local beach several evenings a week. I always bring a bag for trash and I'm always picking up tangles of fishing line. Seems like every year there's at least one heron with a bunch of line wrapped around it's neck or foot or something so I try to keep it as picked up as possible. Plus we have tons of turtle nests. Don't want the little guys running into a tumbleweed of 15 lb braided line with hooks and whatnot. Plus,it's a national park with thousands of visitors every year. Last thing I want is for some 5 year old to have vacation memories of having to have a fish hook removed from their foot.
I'm originally from Wisconsin and I have lived out West in Nevada for the last two years. I have to admit I miss the Midwest and that is why I'm moving back. Plus the cost of living is waaaay cheaper and manufacturing is booming in Wisco. Later West Coast. ✌🏻
You might want one after your February storm, my people in Houston had no Winter survival items. Inevitably we can't find scraper when we need it so I keep 1 inside in addition to the vehicles. Came in handy after an ice storm to get out the door a few years ago, pried the storm door away from frame(gently)
Gotta keep at least one in every car. A shirt handled scraper for the tough ice and a longer handled heavy duty scraper with a brush for the big storms.

I can confirm that one does not choose or even find a snowbrush... the Snowbrush finds you... I work for a Curbside Pickup service in Canada and everyone has a Snow Brush in their trunk, however, there was this one Snow brush that I saw that spoke to me... It was a Garant Snowblade, using a Foam instead of bristles, it combines the softness of a brush, with the water pushing abilities of a squeegee~ I found one at Canadian Tire and it was only $30, I bought one and it worked so well, my mother bought one for the other car. That snowbrush found me, it chose me

One retained the half that retained the “Fleet Farm” name and the other guy changed his half to “Farm n’ Fleet”. When I was in MN in college I only saw Farm N Fleet - in Wisconsin it was Fleet Farm. Dad is the one that explained the situation lol

Same reason why, because I've always lived near the beach, I bought my kids bright colored bathing suits growing up. You can find them quickly out of all the other kids playing at the water's edge or see if they've gone out too far. Should sell those ice scrapers in neon colors.
