Im not even American, but being from Scandinavia, Midwest humor is pretty relatable for obvious reasons!
It couldn't be that most of the Scandinavian immigrants settled the upper Midwest could it?
My grandparents immigrated from Sweden. We lived in Wisconsin. You would fit right in in our winter Christmas lutefisk fry.
Great grandma is from Finland and great grandpa is from Germany. These videos are both funny and "yeah, that's how your supposed to act" when I was living in Kenosha Wisconsin an employee offered to come over and see my lawn to offer the right fertilizer. Great folks.

I get that, Running's Fam & Fleet known as Running's has almost everything men like including guns, except most bow stuff. They have poor help during the evening/night but during the day and some weekends you can get the good help. Problem is they do not want to work hard.
As a Wisconsinite I can confirm this is completely normal
As a cheesehead I can affirm I've never been measured for a snow shovel. And if possible I only use the gooseneck ones. Much easier on the back.
After the "adjustment" to the snow shovel, no, you absolutely cannot return it.
I've been going to Farm & Fleet for 50 years and just recently went to a Fleet Farm.
NOW I KNOW WHAT HEAVEN LOOKS LIKE.

I grew up in Minnesota and loved Fleet Farm! Years ago I had been dating this guy for 3 years and he gave me an ice scraper for Christmas. I was so disappointed but he said it was the best one because it had a brush too!
The best ones are the ones with the metal blade. That's when you know it's serious. Unfortunately, Fleet doesn't sell them anymore

@@101jir Amazon has some short handled ones, but not the longer ones. That's the only place I've found them and I've been looking at every store for years now. The short ones are kinda useless if you are driving anything other than a car
@@__tacocat__ I'm tall and have long arms. I drive a Jeep and can scrape all the ice with plastic scrapers no problem. They should work fine, thanks.

I bought two, long-handled ice scrapers yesterday with the snow brush, and it felt good. Real good.
I got one last season, myself. I mean, *they* called it a "broom" but all it does is clear snow off my truck so...

I had no clue so many different types of ice scrapers existed, and I'm from the Midwest.
So true. Too much tackle is being lost for that reason. I’ve seen piles of fishing string that looked like clouds on the bottom of lakes and it makes me sick.
I'm originally from Wisconsin and I have lived out West in Nevada for the last two years. I have to admit I miss the Midwest and that is why I'm moving back. Plus the cost of living is waaaay cheaper and manufacturing is booming in Wisco. Later West Coast. ✌🏻

As a Texan, a whole aisle dedicated to ice brush scrape things confuses me...
I can assure you it is real and it is necessary.
You might want one after your February storm, my people in Houston had no Winter survival items.
Inevitably we can't find scraper when we need it so I keep 1 inside in addition to the vehicles. Came in handy after an ice storm to get out the door a few years ago, pried the storm door away from frame(gently)
In NJ, I have to keep one in my truck at all times. Depends on how close to the coastline you are, probably.
Gotta keep at least one in every car. A shirt handled scraper for the tough ice and a longer handled heavy duty scraper with a brush for the big storms.

I only use my ice scraper about three times every year.

Employees used to help. I'm only 35 and I remember when employees were helpful. It's been 15-20 years.
@@ibealion1 it’s cuz we’re tired of being treated like shit by everyone so we do our best to avoid any sort of prolonged customer interaction.
Don’t get me wrong good customers, I totally help them and do so gladly, but most people are either annoying, rude, or both and frankly most of us aren’t willing to put up with that.

I can confirm that one does not choose or even find a snowbrush... the Snowbrush finds you... I work for a Curbside Pickup service in Canada and everyone has a Snow Brush in their trunk, however, there was this one Snow brush that I saw that spoke to me... It was a Garant Snowblade, using a Foam instead of bristles, it combines the softness of a brush, with the water pushing abilities of a squeegee~ I found one at Canadian Tire and it was only $30, I bought one and it worked so well, my mother bought one for the other car. That snowbrush found me, it chose me

I work at a Fleet Farm in Minnesota & yes, our particular store IS that helpful. How do I know? Because FF customers come our way from the Twin Cities & they comment how nice & helpful we are, regardless the department. We love you people. Keep coming back. And Charlie? You’re welcome any time!!! ❤
